very well made rings. but heavy!
Exceptionally well made rings, but definitely on the heavy side. If you’re trying to maintain a certain rifle weight, be aware these things weigh between 6-7oz per set.
Absolute rock for benchrest shooting!
I mounted my new Athlon Helos BTR Gen II 6-24x56 into these Area 419 Match Rings for my precision .22LR bench setup, and the performance is incredible. The raw aluminum interior grips the 34mm tube like a vise. The alignment pins made installation a breeze, locking the scope perfectly level without any twisting while torquing. They are a bit heavy, but for pure bench shooting, that extra stability is a massive plus. Zero shifting, zero lapping needed, and absolute precision!

- take up three spaces on your Picatinny rail instead of two

Absolute beast of an optics mount
Area 419 in my opinion makes the best scope rings. They lock your scope in and it doesn't budge. Definitely recommend the match rings for PRS.

Area 419 Match Scope Rings - Review
The fit and finish on these scope rings are top notch. Zero lapping was needed and the scope has not moved at all since mounting. I would put these rings on the same level as Spuhr, Nightforce, MPA, Hawkins, and all of the other heavy hitters. Very nice rings! Make sure to watch the mounting videos that area 419 published, they are super helpful and offer a better perspective on scope mounting.

Without question, these are by far the best scope rings I have ever owned - I have 3 sets now. They are easy to install and tighten - very smooth. Scope alignment is great and corrected for some previous misalignments. They're a little pricey but are half some of the top brands for the same quality.

Great ring but they don't work on everything
I bought 2 sets of these. The first set was for a 6GT build and they worked amazing. I really like the pin guided clamps and the low profile clamp to the base. However, the second set I bought was for a my defiance action with a integral rail and when they arrived I found the rings would not clamp tight to the rail. I reached out to customer service and didn't really get much in response other than "do you have the clamp the right orientation?" I did. I ended up returning and replacing with Nightforce rings and they clamped right down on the same rail. I am not saying not to buy or that I wouldn't buy them again, but be forewarned they may not fit every rail.

very good scope rings
These rings are on par with any high end rings in the market. They snug up really well and allow you to torque them without much hassle to getting the each screws lined up, thanks to the inserted pin. Well done Area 419

Precision Rings made out of a single block
These rings are whT you're looking for when mounting a large scope and you want it to stay where it supposed to. Super sturdy and high quality can't go wrong with these.
