Great Grip
This grip is wonderfully ergonomic and very solid when mounted. It looks like it belongs on everything it's been mounted to, and Arisaka's machining is top notch as always. I'll probably buy three more.

Very Short
If you want a stubby metal vertical grip that is light and sturdy this will serve you well. I think this grip looks a lot bigger in the pictures than it really is. This is well shorter than a bcm vertical grip. Kinda hard to get a good purchase on the weapon. It’s very solid and mounts well but it’s...

All metal, quality machining
American company, quality all metal construction. I prefer steel over aluminum, and aluminum over plastic when available. This aluminum grip with steel hardware is great. Simple round and grooved styling. Purchased specifically for a CZ Scorpion 3+ Carbine. I wanted somewhere to hold beside the magazine well, I kept accidentally depressing the magazine release. Has stayed secure on plastic handguard a year later! I wear large gloves and feel like there is plenty of real estate for me to wrap my fingers around.
Pros:
- Simple
- American made
- high quality machining/design
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- simple well-built tactical vertical grip

arisaka verticle forgrip
. Very lightweight. Solidly made peace. It is hollow, so there’s no storage underneath or inside, but that’s perfectly fine. Very reasonable price nicely built. Works great in my Sig MPX SBR.

Arisaka VFG
Simplistic and functional design accompanied by durable construction. The Arisaka approach to a VFG is really a work of art. The machining and finish are impeccable. I would note it was a tad shorter and heavier than stated. Mine came in at 2.1 oz with hardware and under 2.5”. I ended up returning this and sticking with the BCM VFG for this particular application, mainly due to asthetics. If I was building something more streamlined, this would be my go to. The body feels great in the hand with the recessed portion giving your fingers a natural position for a modified c-clamp. I personally found it more ergonomic than the KAG, Arisaka Indexer, and BCM VFG. You can’t go wrong with Arisaka.
Pros:
- Quality & Affordable
- Asthetically Pleasing
- Ergonomic and comfortable to hold
Cons:
- small
Best Used for:
- modified grip

Arisaka VFG
Was looking for a 90* stubby with MLok configs. Bought two and mounted them to different branded rails. The fit is flush and they’re lighter than I expected. Ergonomics are great with the grooves as well. Arisaka makes another great product.
