Most Helpful Positive Review Wire connection into pack needs reinforced.
My only Complaint is that the wire connection into the extended battery pack seems to pull apart with use. It does not seem to me to be water resistant any longer as the white and black wire are showing where the insulation has pulled out of the battery compartment. The wire connection at the plug a...

Most Helpful Negative Review Electrical Engineer
My first mistake was to buy the Armasight Zeus pro 336, 50mm, 60hz for $7k. At this price, you think the optic would be good but it is horrible. One can see an animal from long distance but putting the crosshair on vital is very difficult due to poor image quality. Also, this unit eats up CR123 l...

Not for a CO mini

by Red, Verified Owner from PA, United States Written on January 26, 2018
I spoke with Armasight about the product after calling the retailers customer service rep from OP. The Armasight rep. explained the battery pack will not work with the CO mini. Keep this in mind sales! Otherwise all went well and I was treated fair!

Dodo in a box

by Salty dog, from OH, United States Written on January 22, 2018
Armasight should be ashamed of this pack! Poor quality even for a $20 item but no this thing is $300!! I tell everyone to just but an ATN scope. You can get more scope for the money, especially when you add an Armasight $300 battery pack that connects to another $300 DVR. Wish I could attach photos of this thing after one hunt.
Pros:
  • Long hunt time
Cons:
  • Poor construction
Best Used for:
  • Trash can

Hunter outdoorsman

by Sam, from AR, United States Written on December 22, 2017
This unit is kind of Mickey mouse in that the charger will only charge 1 battery at a time which takes twice as long to be up and ready to use. The batteries look generic no brand name. Also the cable to the scope is of very poor quality looks like it will not stand up to the rigors of outdoor use .For 325:00 dollors it should be of better quality .It leaves you with the feeling that you have been ripped off .I am not very satisfied with this purchase

$30 Item for $300

by Tim, from OH, United States Written on December 19, 2017
It is crazy that this pack cost $300 after you spend 5k on a scope. Can’t wait to buy their $300 video recorder. I do get several hrs of hunting out of one charge. ATN has one for their scopes for $100 and they also have the built-in DVD....just fyi
Pros:
  • Better than 2 cr123
Cons:
  • No 90 on the charger
Best Used for:
  • Long hunts

Extreme Poor Quality

by Honest Views, from CO, United States Written on December 14, 2017
Simply stated, this product should be immediately taken off the market as a complete ripoff. Further, I don't understand how FLIR / Armasight could allow this product to be associated with their equipment.

It is a cheap plastic "box" that uses a flimsy rubber "stretch" connector to connect it to a high caliber weapon? While the scope it supports is an outstanding mil spec gun sight, this thing is horrible and I returned it immediately.

To make matters worse, there is not a single piece of paper (nor an online reference) that comes with the cheap plastic box. There are no instructions whatsoever in the box, on the box, or anywhere to be found.

Also the way the "product" was packed, the wire coming from the device was wrapped tightly around the box and pushed into a small bag. The connection from the wire to the box was badly crimped and I am sure this was a latent failure waiting to happen.
Pros:
  • I was able to return it
Cons:
  • Complete ripoff

Unhappy Customer

by Bao Nguyen, Verified Owner from TX, United States Written on November 1, 2017
This is update to my original review. After one year of usage, the connector is no longer fit tight due to the straight connection instead of 90 degrees so now, the unit turns off by itself all the time so I am back to using the CR123 battery which doesn't last very long and expensive to use.

Great little unit, just has a few quirks

by MissionCritical, from TX, United States Written on March 29, 2017
Really solid built, but as the picture shows, the connector comes out straight, and it would be better if it had a 90 degree angle to it. Also, the attachment to the rail uses a heavy foam instead of metal which has its pros and cons. Its fast to connect (no screws), but might get weak over time. So now, it works.

Armasight Extend Battery Pack

by Weldon, from TX, United States Written on February 7, 2017
It doesn't hold a charge as long as said. Need to send a 2 battery charger with it because it takes about 10 hrs. to charge 1 battery. Spend all of your time charging batteries. Need to add 2 more batteries with it.

Extended Battery Pack

by Hunter, from CT, United States Written on September 26, 2016
Bought the Armasight Extended Battery Pack for my Predator 336. It’s small and don’t weigh too much, easy to use. When you spend most of the time outdoors, it is great to be sure that you won’t be worried where to charge your device. I had such situations before and I am happy that I have never had such problems since I bought the extended pack, so recommend all my friends to think about getting this thing, very helpful.
