Will not mount close enough to my eye. Tried on two rifles and will not work on either rifle. May have to have a custom mount made up. The mount on the actual scope looks like an afterthought as if they tried to correct this but it still wasn't enough.
Cons:
- Will not mount on two rifles
Best Used for:
- As a monocular and not a rifle scope.

I bought this scope after a ton of research and I love it. Awesome image quality with and without the included IR depending on the lighting. Can see out to 200 yards no problem. Piece of cake to sigh in.

I have never owned any night vision products so I have nothing to compare this product to, but I have a few bits of info. This scope is easy to sight in by using the lens cover during daylight. It is best not to have the brightest of light to do this with. With a firm mount, accuracy is very good. At 25 yds. on my Daniel Defense AR, a 1" target is very attainable. The night vision with the IR illuminator is excellent. Without any extra light from the moon, stars, etc., the illuminator takes the vision from grainy to clear. This is a pricy scope but from appearances, it seems to be very well built so value appears high.
Pros:
- Great visibility in low light.

This is my first night vision scope. I was a little skeptical at first but decided on the purchase anyway. I have a hog problem on my ranch and needed to thin them out. Sighting in was pretty easy. I used a laser bore sight first and it got me close.
After some adjusting the focus and sighting I went off to my stand. I heard noises and would turn it on and look. Spotted a couple small pigs but didn't shoot. Later (1hr), four large sows showed up. I turned the scope on and had no problems putting the cross hairs on her shoulder. One shot one kill.
I am pretty impressed with how well I see without the IR illuminator turned on. I have not adjusted it yet even as the scope was able to light my targets well enough. I can easily see out to 100 yards in low light without the additional IR illuminator on.
It does add considerable weight to the rifle. I wouldn't want to walk around night carrying it.
Again this is my first night scope but I am pretty impressed with it and it didn't cost me $2000 or up for a decent night scope.
Pros:
- works well in low light without illuminator
Best Used for:
- great for those pesky hogs that show up after dark

Clarity is fairly good although you lose it with magnification. I wish the Nemesis would be available with an HD tube, but it doesn't and this was a good value. All NV scopes are bulky, but this was the least ungainly of the ones I looked at. I like that you can dim the reticle. I don't think you can on the Mars and that big, bright red crosshair would be annoying. My only complaint is the on/off switch. Mine doesn't work well either direction, but not bad enough to send back. Even if it did work good, it couldn't be turned off or on with gloves on. I would recommend putting the IR on the scope with a riser. I would get a glare off the barrel when mounted on fore-grip. I sighted it in with a tea light. Never heard of anyone doing it, but it seemed to work good. Overall happy with it and couldn't think of one I would rather have for the money. I looked all around for the best price and OP had it. They even gave me money back because they ran a 11% storewide the day after I bought it...I asked for it and they gave it. Thank you OP
Pros: adjustable reticle, compact...sort of, price
Cons: on/off switch

I am new to night vision but selected Armasight nemesis based on price and specifications. Optics planet folks have been helpful. The people at Armasight have been super in every way. Several phone calls and emails with Steven Budovlya at extension 103 made my decision much easier. He walked me through the tight diopter ring solution as well as general operation operation of the equipment. Can't say too much about the tech support. In short I love the scope. Diana has asked if I have slept with it yet. Obliviously, she has that spot already!
Pros: Ease of operation

Nemesis 4x Gen 2
For sure Nemesis 4x ID is very helpful. I just came back from 4 day hunting tour in Brazil. The device performed beyond my expectations.. A lot better picture definition, sensitivity and operation than with my previous one. Quite precise shooting , no disorders despite the high humidity level.. very robust and light-weight. I`m absolutely pleased!

Nice, compact, and lightweight scope for a great price. I actually think this is the best night vision scope I could get at this price range. Controls are quite simple, and this is exactly what I need. The image quality is decent, so far I havent checked it on the darkest nights, but with some starts in the sky I can see a deer at about 200 yards which I think is great for a budget scope like this one. The scope came in with battery included, in the nice soft case. There was also IR illuminator included which helps a little bit to improve the image. I believe it will be very helpful in the darkest situations when there is no moon and start for example, or in deep forest. Anyway, this is a great and affordable device!

Have been trying the Nemesis for almost one month already and indeed its an impressive unit. Its not my first NV device but Im really satisfied with the scope and conceived full pleasure of its surveillance ability at once after starting using it. I was invited to my friends country camp for hunting, so had perfect opportunity to know the Nemesis well. Picture quality and contrast range are very good and size and weight are very comfortable as well. Targets are identified very clearly and are hold by the sight very well. Also during testing tried to search for many objects within different distances and excellent IR810 illuminator helped greatly when being in full darkness outside and without any light sources located closely. Really The Nemesis is one of the best among Gen 2 NV scopes Ive ever tested.
