Tango247's Review of Armasight Nemesis 6x Quick Silver Night Vision Rifle Scope
The first thing you will notice, especially if you have handled higher end versions, is the weight. Consider this on your rifle as being like having a quart of milk mounted on top. That is without the included light. Setting that aside, the controls are easy to reach and simple to operate.
There are back up iron sights on top of the unit that are actually adjustable.
There is a 25 and infinity knob that I could not decide did anything in particular.
The strap tethering the adjustment knobs and battery cover is just a bit tight which makes taking the battery in and out a bit of a bother. I found taking one elevation cap off introduced enough slack to use the battery compartment as putting the elevation cap back on was easier as there is no spring pressure as with the battery.
Do follow the directions as to focus. Dial it all the way right (Clockwise) then get your eye relief and dial it back to find your focus.
I evaluated targets (a group of friends) while holding this in hand at 160 yards and could make out articles of clothing, facial hair, phones on belts. I could recognize who they were. Plenty of discernment for target identification and selection. I estimate that would hold true out to around 200 yards.
You may notice a bit of "fisheye" when sweeping a field due to image process speed.
