If you're familiar with Night vision, this item is going raise an alarm bell because it looks too good to be true. Rest assured, this is the real deal, but it's not for people afraid of reading and research. The Price is due to it being a closeout, and not the standard kit. Get em now, they aren't coming back.

This item is an excellent value, and performs well, however you need to know a couple caveats about what you're in for. Armasight has been bought by FLIR, and the Nyx line has been discontinued; if you don't buy the Armasight accessories you want here on OpticsPlanet while they're in stock, you're out of luck, and will never get another one 'new'. YES, FLIR IS HONORING THE WARRENTY, the three year warranty if you register your purchase with them. It's definitely a Gen 3 device; not Gen 2, the light requirements to see, are extremely low. Based on my research, these use Photonis IITs, but I can't verify that personally. The Bravo line supposedly is the line that has more blemishes than the alpha, or pinnacle; mine has a single dot centered, about 1/3rd from the top. It's there, but it's not distracting.If you've ever worn glasses, you wouldn't notice it or care. For the money, it's a heck of a bargain. I can navigate the house with all the lights off, and the shades closed. My garage gets pitch black and the Ryobi battery tender in the corner gave enough glow to safely navigate under Nods.
