I heard about that armasight monocular many times but never took that serious. But once I've taken it from my buddy for a few days of hunting, I felt in love with it. Company says that you can use it as a weapon sight with no risk to damage the tube but I preferred to use it as a goggle. Well, I have to say you don't expect a $500 unit to work that great. I could see clearly up to 100 yards, no fish-eye effect or distortion as it usually happens on 1st gen scopes. Few months ago I found out that armaisght increased the resolution of that scope to 60-70 lines. And that tan color left me no chances to resist my will and to purchase it. Ordered already, can't wait for the package to come.
Pros: cheap and good-quality image
Cons: needs good IR
