I ordered 1 and was so impressed I ordered a 2nd for my friend. The first one worked perfect. I had to send the second in for exchange due to objects on the inside of the unit blocking the sight. I'm still waiting on the exchanged unit to arrive.

If you're searching for a top of the line Gen. 1 night vision monocular, then look no further. The OPMOD Armasight Spark CORE 1X multipurpose night vision monocular breaks all the rules in traditional night vision technology. Featuring a cutting edge Ceramic Optical Ruggedized Engine (CORE) image intensifier tube, no longer do you have to worry about damaging the traditional glass tubes. The CORE feature of this unit has removed nearly all of edge distortion and almost doubled the resolution to 70 lp/mm. This is the same type of technology found in Gen 2 and Gen 3 models that cost more than twice the price. The OPMOD Armasight Spark CORE offers a nice tight fitting rubber eye cup to hide that green glow that might give your position away. The compact, rugged design of this device allows it to be head mountable and easily adaptable for use with cameras. The built-in infrared illuminator gives the user the ability to see clearly in pitch black conditions. No matter what you need the OPMOD Armasight Spark for, the easy to use controls and waterproof housing will get the job done.image
