A great entry level gen 1+ how about not screwing customers having to buy special mounts. part ii - Armasight OPMOD Spark CORE Limited Edition Night Vision Monocular

I pulled out the head gear and BAM. Proprietary mounts....WHY? All of the options I discovered online to attach the NVG to my current mounts exceeded $100 and or I could change all the mounts around on our gear and Hundreds more spent needlessly. This isn't tactical this is good old fashion hog hunting etc and I really don't want to spend a bundle on Armasight mounts etc. I ditched GoPro years ago for the same reason and now that I use Replay XP and other cameras and videos equipment with standard mounts for tripods etc. This could have been a great review but I spent hours trying to figure out how to attach the NVG top my mounts that I could have spent doing something fun. The final Answer, spend money, which doesn't make me a happy consumer. Time to pull out a block of aluminum and make a threaded mount. Heck maybe I will sell them for $15.
