Most Helpful Positive Review flir pts 536
I've had this unit for about 2 months now and its a game changer. I use it for crop damage permits on a 308 and very please with the performance and ease to sight in. I like the outdoor alert and black hot the best with white cross hairs. I finally got it on my rem 700 223 1/9 twist 20" bull barrel ...

Most Helpful Negative Review Customer service is deficient
Bought this scope, put about 2 mags through to zero and play with. Went to hunt and show it off to the fellas and it wouldn’t turn on. Spent quite a while trying to reach FLIRs customer service. Finally got ahold of a person who didn’t hang up or transfer and scheduled my own return. Emailed and cal...

by Bobsdad, from OK, United States Written on March 29, 2019
I have not had a lot of time to use my thermosight. But from what little time I have had it it a very well built scope. It is very compact compared to other nightvisiin/ thermals I have messed with. It is a very cool scope.

Comment on flir. i e Armasight

by voni, from AL, United States Written on February 13, 2019
Since Flir took over Armasight . They don’t really care about the small hunters market. The military is their forte. They unlike other brands brought out nothing new on their scopes at the shot show in Vegas. Not to say their products are not good but go with brands like Pulsar if you want help or service with problems .
Heck even A T N admits they have lagged on customer service and said they are dedicated to resolve it. However I have gotten outstanding service when I had problems with my A T N. And yes I run a Pulsar thermal also. I absolutely love my X Q 38.

FLIR Thermosight 536

by Payton, from OH, United States Written on November 12, 2018
I have had this product for about two months. It is my first thermal scope. The only issue I have had is that I maxed out its vertical adjustments when sighting it in and still shoots 3 inches low. I sighted it in at 100 yards using 220 grain sub sonic Remington .300 blackout ammo. It’s used in a 16 inch Ruger American. I’ve called FLIR several times and have not been able to talk to a rep to see if there is something wrong with my scope.
Pros:
  • Clear picture
Cons:
  • Needs more adjustment for sighting in
Best Used for:
  • coyote hunting

Thermosight Pro

by Zman, from TX, United States Written on November 8, 2018
I am pleased with the pts536 Thermosight Pro. It comes in a solid case and a quick detach mount that works well. The picture is nice and I think the optic zoom is about the right amount for me. It's a solid built product.
