I have a couple issues with this buffer spring. You need to use the spacer to fit the buffer properly. This is not mentioned in packaging instructions but is on their website. braided buffer spring
This is a little quieter spring than the regular single wire spring. I’m not too sure that will make much difference @ the range. But I can see where it may have an effect out in the field…

Doesn't fit
Doesn't fit any of the buffers I have, ranging from Odin works adjustable one, stock carbine buffers, pistol buffers. The flange or spacer included doesn't fit over any of them, the inner diameter is a bit too small. The spring doesn't slide over the buffer either because inner diameter is too small also. Not universal as advertised. Even if it did fit, I have doubts it makes much difference in recoil or sound. Basing this on my experience with the Geissele super 42 braided spring and buffer. Difference is very subtle, if any at all.

Armaspec bbs braided
works good .use the washer. iif you dont use the washer you can cause major damage to your buffer tupe and your buffer and your spring.So be sure not to chunk your washer that comes with it washer may not be the correct name but use it

Use the spacer
Please, simply use the included spacer when installing so that the spring does not lock your buffer in the tube because you didn't use the spacer. It's really that simple, no need to buy the geissle system unless you're building a whole new rifle, because if you're building a new rifle buying the super 42 system makes more sense in my opinion.

DO NOT BUY THIS
This is the worst item you could get in your cart you're going to take it home you're going to put it in you're going to firstly have trouble putting it in but then you're going to get it in you're going to think you're cool and you're going to shoot a couple rounds and then your bolt carrier is going to get stuck because the spring is going to slip over the front shoulder of the bolt carrier it's going to widen the outside diameter and it's going to seize your entire gun up don't buy this at all
