I just received my Artisan 1707P-BCF. It has a S35VN 4"blacked out blade with decent CF scales. The liners are a beautiful blue hue. Being all blacked out except for blue accents, it's discouraging the pocket clip, though deep carry, is bright shiny stainless (perfection would carry a blacked out pocket clip). I found the fasteners holding the CF scales to the liners were sitting proud enough to be felt and they catch on very high thread count material, not so much jeans or burlap sacks. The liners are also proud of the carbon fiber handles all the way around the periphery- hopefully designed in to prevent dinging up the CF handles if dropped on a sharp edge, which most likely would begin delaminating the CF handles.
