Epstein didn't kill himself
So i used this on a AK with the strike force adapter. It looks very good and matches the B5 grey color nicely. Ill buy another if i do a grey theme again. Shipping time from Optics wasn't bad either.

Aluminum is very soft
I would avoid this buffer tube due to the 6065 aluminum. It is way to soft and the threads strip very easily when tightening the castle nut. Had to return the one I purchased and went with another buffer tube that was 7075 aluminum and didn’t have this issue.
Makes the gun functional
The buffer tube is okay, the cerakote scratches of super easy and the inside of the tube is very scratchy sounding, even with a captured buffer

This fits perfectly and the color is great. I'm trying to get this build to be as close as possible to same color for all components without having to paint them all and this is really close to Brownells aluma Hyde coyote.

Way out of spec
I bought this tube expecting it to be milspec as the name suggests. The 6 position holes were poorly drilled and the tube wasnt concentric. It was thicker on the bottom which was letting the buffer sit higher and slip over the retainer. This could just have been a fluke in the production chain, but milspec is literally the bare minimum so it's pretty disappointing when it falls short.

AT3 Tactical AR buffer tube
High quality and light weight. Good fit to the adapter I chose. Also matched up well with the SBA5 pistol brace. Definitely recommended.

No notch for the retainer spring
This has no notch for the buffer tube retainer spring. So you have to screw the buffer tube into where it will hold down the buffer retainer. If because of the way this one works it was holding down the spring but not by enough according to my range time. Major Malfunction while shooting, the spring came out while the BCG was in the tube. This ejection, caught the BCG not allowing it to come forward. Upon examination, this buffer tube won’t allow another turn because it hits the peg and won’t allow 1 more full rotation. So you have to back it up by 1 spin. The placement holds down the retainer spring but it not enough, the vibration of shooting will set it loose in less than 5 shots.
