Most Helpful Positive Review A lot of scope for the $
This is my second Athlon scope and very pleased with it. I was first surprised by its weight but neither are tanks. Turrets - are solid clicks that align right on the marks. There is no mushy side to side movement and little snappy noises, when it clicks your on the next mark and that’s that. Glass is impressive and I think it gives one heck of a run for the money to other brands. Illumination has the power off settings in between brightness settings (should be a manufacturing standard IMO) Note: I mounted this on a ar10 but for those interested with 15’s, their moa reticle has the BDC for the...

Turrets are very crisp and positive clicks. Glass is clear as can be. Great product!

what’s not to like

by E, from MI, United States Written on November 8, 2023
Great glass, solid build, turrets that instill confidence when making adjustments. There isn’t another scope on the market in this price range with a 10x zoom and a reticle this useful. There are similar spec’d scopes that cost 2-3 times as much but for what I’m going to use this for the Ares ETR is perfect. I have this scope mounted to a PCP airgun that I use for plinking and squirrel hunting.

I own 6 Athlon scopes. 3 - ARES ETR’s, 2 - Helos BTR G2, and an Argos 6-24. For what I do there’s no way I’m going to spend double or triple for the same performance.
Pros:
  • glass & turret adjustment, reticle,durability
Cons:
  • weight
Best Used for:
  • mid range
  • AR - 15
  • Plincking
