Slonjo's Review of Athlon Optics Argos BTR Gen II 6-24X50mm APLR2 Rifle Scope
Awwwww-yeah! Wow, what a piece of glass. You could charge another $300-400 for this optic and it would still be a deal. It has nearly every single feature you'd expect to find on $1000 optics with decent enough glass. Are there better scopes out there. Of course but you're going to pay several hundred dollars more for it. But for this price you get:
- 6x24 power
- parallax adjustment
- tactile and audible adjustments
- pull-cap/locking turrets
- turret return-to-zero
- First Focal Plane
- diopter adjustment
- illuminated, etched reticle
- lens caps
- shock, fog and waterproof
- fully coated lenses
Unbelievable! I'm sure there's more but I only found one other optic that comes close to this combination of features and price: The Swampfox Kentucky Long 4x24. Couldn't decide so I got both. That's the beauty of it. I get 2 top-tier, long-range optics for the price one of your "high-end" brands.
