This is my second Athlon scope. I'm impressed with the quality and affordability of these scopes. Optics Planet was quick at getting it shipped, and I received it in a few days.

Works great
Close range and good for distance
Glass is clear
Parallax and zoom are smooth

This is my 4th Athlon Argos with the other 3 being the 4-20x50. I have been extremely satisfied with all of them. I chose this one in the 2-12x42 specifically for my 30-30 since I bought the rifle for 100 yds in. There’s slight distortion at the very edges but the color, clarity, and brightness….especially for the price is awesome! And I am spoiled to lighted reticle!

Had this on 450 bushmaster loved it worked for a couple years than cross hairs started moving got it replaced my brother got one for his 450 put 6 shots threw and it went fuzzy disappointed

This is my fifth Athlon scope I've purchased over the last few years. I bought this one for a Savage 20ga bolt gun. I didn't want to over scope the shotgun and appreciated the fact that I can carry while walking in two power and if I need to zoom while sitting I also have the ability to dial up to twelve power. In new England we have some pretty dense forests, so one hundred yard shots can be difficult to obtain, hence I like the 2 power setting. I'm old and need scoped rifle/shotgun options as the eyes are going and what I like about Athlon scopes are they have crystal clear glass from edge to edge and collect as much available light as possible. And hard to beat for the money, especially when your retired and on a fixed income, you want your money's worth.

Great quality, awesome glass no questions. Ask lifetime warranty. Can I say anymore?

I currently own a few of Athlon optics & have been very satisfied with all of them. Dollar for dollar, I think they are as good as scopes well above their prices. I have numerous rifles with optics on them from a few different brands including some high end optics. If you haven’t given Athlon a shot, I think you are missing out on some fine optics for the money. With thorough inspection & testing that a lot of people won’t take time to do, they are better than some of the brands way above the cost. Clean internals, quality glass, & great tracking, I can highly recommend Athlon, especially for hunting optics. The reason for (4) stars is the fact of the packaging from OP, which has been a problem with the last couple orders I’ve placed with them. The optic were fine, but it was shipped in too short of a box with the ends folded over to make it fit, which could have made for damage to the contents, & being able to look inside the top corners of the box & see what the contents were. I think the shipping department needs to be a little better supervised, & pay better attention to the customers product that they pay hard earned money for.

This scope has the following:clear glass, precise and positive clicks, POI does not change with magnification and a lifetime warranty. Lens protectors would be nice.

This scope quality is way above it's price point, glass is very clear! Hard to find an illuminated bdc scope & with parralx adjustment without spending a ton of $! I would recommend it over a vortex & they have same warranty. I put it on my 308/ar10 for deer & hog hunting. Its perfect for it's job. I would buy again for sure.
