WOW see the details.
Haven't had the chance to use it at the range but in the yard was amazed. Looking at the very top of a maybe 100' tall Douglas fir about 500 yrds away, was able to observe a large bug on the very tip. My neighbor thought it was a bird till I told him to compare its size to the needles on the tree. No way it is a bug he exclaimed in amazement.

Athlon Cronus Spotter
I have several Spotting scopes...Bushnell, Tasco, Vortex Razor, Meopta and the Athlon Cronus Gen II 20-60 X 86.
The Athlon is a good spotter, real smooth adjustments, super clear with edge to edge clarity... they are almost as good as the Vortex Razors, no where as good as the Meopta's but they didn't cost nearly as much as either of those. I haven't had the opportunity to use them any farther than my 500 yard target range but they are sufficient for that.... just not quite as good as the Vortex Razor's...(Can't see a .30 bullet hole at 500 yards)
Really smooth focus and clear glass. Overall a great spotter....worth the price paid, if I had not compared it to the Vortex and Meopta I would have been very satisfied with it

Entry Level
After reading numerous reviews and watching numerous review videos, I decided to give this Athlon Chronus Gen II 20-60X86mm UHD a try. Ordering and shipping of the spotting scope went without any issues whatsoever so ever. Upon first inspection the spotting scope looked like a very we built and quality product. I mounted it onto my bipod and inspected the optical quality. First thing I noticed it at 20X magnification, the picture was very clear. After increasing magnification, you can really notice that the image starts to degrade once you pass the 40X threshold. At 60X, it also seems like you are looking through a window screen and it also feels like you are chasing the eye box around in the eyepiece. I feel that at 60X while viewing over a mile, that you could identify animals, but I also feel like there would be needed detail lacking. I opted to return this spotting scope as the optical quality was not really up to my standards. The RMA process with optics planet was painless transaction. I will do business with them later on in the future.
