Better than Holosun, great open eye field of view for a Tactical Shotgun / AR-15 (36mm lens)
Great red dot. Single piece mount is solid. Lens coating on the large 36mm objective lens is ruby red style, brighter than in the stock image here.
However, the red dot is very clear and I have dual astigmatism in both eyes corrected with contacts.
This lets me run OPEN eyes with keratoconus (wh...

Chinese optics
My first two impressions upon opening this up were that its anti-reflective coating was poorly made. Then I saw the “Made in China” label.
Under the kitchen lights, I got red streaks all over from internal reflections in the optics. A bad sign. Sure enough, when I turned it on the red dot was blurr...

HUGE sight!
I specifically wanted something with a large diameter optic and this thing is huge. Plus with the shake awake feature I can just leave it on all the time. Inexpensive with a lifetime warranty; couldn't be happier.
Pros:
- Size
- Warranty and Price
Cons:
- No caps
Best Used for:
- CQB
Would recommend: Yes

Really nice product
I have two of these now. I typically buy Vortex, and was looking at Swampfox. But I tried one of these, based upon objective lens size and shake-n-wake feature. I'm glad I bought them. I have two, both mounting far forward (mid-rifle). I can keep both eyes open, and it's as intuitive as pointing a shotgun. The dot is crisp and clear. The larger lens allows me to see more when mounted forward, but not big enough to obstruct my view. I found that if you move it forward, your view actually gets larger (you don't see the insides of the sight, and see more of a clean, round view through the optic.) Nice product, looks great. Clean design. It's nice to know I grab the rifle, and the optic turns on. They don't provide torque nut specifications, but I called and they said 35-45(?) in lbs. (Wow, that's tight). I tightened to just shy of 35, and it's fine. I wish they provided (or sold) flip down lens covers. Overall, I'm very happy with the product, and ordered another one.
Pros:
- easy to use
- Clean design
- shake-n-wake - always on
Cons:
- No torque specs for nut provided
- Needs to offer flip down lens caps
Best Used for:
- Quick, reactive shots
