Disappointing
After a good experience with an Athlon rifle scope, I decided to give these a try. I have never had so many challenges with a pair of binoculars before. It may well be that I don't adapt well to a roof prism design, but just finding a comfortable eye box every time I pick these up is a chore. The front lens covers are annoying, and the rear ones aren't much to write home about. Adjusting these for the correct distance between my eyes has been almost painful at times, so I no longer put them back in their case to avoid having to do so. I wanted to like these, but couldn't.
The optics are pretty good, but I just cannot get comfortable behind the eyepieces.

I was looking for a set of binoculars and looking at reviews and ran across this and added it to my cart because I have a athlon neos 3x9x40 on my ruger ranch 7.62x39 I keep in the Truck wile out at the farm and absolutely love that scope for the clarity(just a budget friendly rifle and scope bouncing around every day setup) , I ended buying the binoculars and wow for 100 bucks, they are extremely tough and the clarity is amazing, I have a pair of Carsons and a pair of the McKenzie Hd Leopoldo both are in 10x42 and i will grab the athlon 8x42 over the other two I have, I have dropped these, forgot them in the back of the truck bouncing around for a couple of days, I have not been easy on them at all and still just as clear and still look brand new, I highly recommend these binoculars you won’t be disappointed these are by far my favorite
