Just received...first impressions - Athlon Optics Talos 3-12x40mm 1in Tube Rifle Scope, Second Focal Plane

Looks capable at first glance. Adjustment knobs for side parallax focus and IR are rather stiff. Not as much as others and not as smooth as others. The Azimuth Elevation adjustment knobs are not difficult. The reset to zero MOA means ranks near p1$$ poor engineering. Be careful at the range when removing the screw. Better engineering would have entailed simply loosening tension screw, lift slightly, rotate the ring, lower ring, then tighten the screw. Not so in this case: Remove scew, pull off adjustment ring, rotate to zero, carefully replace adjustment ring squarely and as close as possible to zero, install screw, if you havent dropped it in the grass. I just received the scope and this is but first impression. Ive not had the opportunity for field testing. Ive only bore sighted it at this time.
