Installed on a Ruger American gen2 350 legend & it pairs up perfect the glass is super clear and the radical lines are nice and crisp The illumination is nice too.
Great bang for your buck hard to beat it for the price

The lens quality is similar to the Vortex Diamondback. I put it on a Ruger Carbon lite X22 10/22. It will be used for hunting, target shooting, and plinking. The parallax knob is ridiculously stiff and hard to adjust. I have to remove the rifle from my shoulder to adjust the parallax. I have only used it once, so it might get looser with use. With a magnification at 3, I am able to shoot down to 10 yards with a crisp, clear site picture.

This is my second 3-12. and I also have an Athlon 6-24 on my ARA rifle. They are very clear and easily focused for 50-100 yard use. The 3-12 reticle is good in lower light conditions. Good budget or entry level scope.
Pros:
- quick focus
- Clear glass & Reticle
Best Used for:
- I use mine for small game hunting

Compared to the scope I replaced a 4x12x42 Vortex Crossfire II, this Athlon Talos 3x12x40 center-X reticle scope is far superior. The glass is much clearer, brighter and sharper at all magnification levels. Everything on this new scope works pretty much ok, mounted it on my Ruger American in 6.5 Grendel and sighted it in easily at 100 yards with 4 shots. I continued to shoot several good groups (sub moa) after sight in with no shifting to initial zero. The only thing stopping me from giving it a 5-star rating is the vertical adjustment, 1 click is far greater than 1/4 moa more like 1/2 moa, but knowing this now I can live with it and is not a problem for me.

I was told by AOA that athlon is very good for high powered spring air guns and I have had no problem with the Talos on my new HW95 with a smooth macari tune kit, my only issue is the side focus knob sticks, if I tighten the caps to recommend specs, it will stop completely at half way point of focus, otherwise I'd gave 4 stars.i think vortex scopes let more light in
Cons:
- Thin walls but expected cause cheaper

This scope has a lot of great features for being under $200. Glass is good, similar to Vortex Crossfire II series. Lighted reticle is nice and crisp. Not too over the top. I Argos Gen 2 and the quality is similar to what you would expect from Athlon.

I am very impressed with the quality of this scope for the price. Side focus as others have said is a little stiff but very manageable. A separate focus on the eyepiece for the recticle. The height and windage knobs adjust easily without a tool. The distance between the bells and adjustment turrets seems different which required me to replace my original mounts with a rail to get the rings in the right position.

This scope arrived very fast. The packaging is great. Scope was easy to mount and was easy to sight in. Was very close to being on once mounted. Easy adjustments and comes back to zero without any issues.
