The lens quality is similar to the Vortex Diamondback. I put it on a Ruger Carbon lite X22 10/22. It will be used for hunting, target shooting, and plinking. The parallax knob is ridiculously stiff and hard to adjust. I have to remove the rifle from my shoulder to adjust the parallax. I have only used it once, so it might get looser with use. With a magnification at 3, I am able to shoot down to 10 yards with a crisp, clear site picture.
I mounted this scope on a Ruger X22 Carbon Lite 10/22. I sited it in at 25 yards. The scope was great. When I moved out to 50 yards, the center of the scope would start to blur at 6x magnification. By 10x, you couldn't identify the paper target. The blur was 25 to over 100 yards. I called Optics Planet, and they helped me get the scope returned to them for credit. I also ordered another scope while I had them on the phone.
I have to add that I own 6 Burris scopes, and I am a Burris fan. This scope was the first that I have ever had an issue with and a very rare occurrence.
This is a well-made bipod. I have not used a bipod in many years. So I am not as stable as I once was. That said, they do flex some but feel as they lock into place after the minimal travel. At just over 12 onces, they are pretty lite weight.
The bipod pans and tilts smoothly. You can lock it in to place. So it will not pan or tilt if you prefer that. For the price, these work well.
I am getting .25" groups at 100 yards with my Springfield Waypoint 2020 6mm Creedmoor. I shot a small pig with it at 126 yards, and it dropped it in its tracks. I don't think it even had a chance to twitch.
This ammo shoots very well from my Springfield Waypoint 2020 chambered in 6mm Creedmoor. I have only shot paper at 50 yards. It produced 3 groups of 3 rounds all touching. When measured, they were.19" - .21" groups. I hope to get out to the range with this soon, and I will stretch it out to 600 yards.
I have shot a small (and I mean very small) pig with this at 126 yards. It didn't take a step. I had a complete pass thru shot. I have high expectations for this ammo for next years deer season. Also, for the hogs that keep tearing my yard up, too.
