Machining, finish, lenses, all seem to be of high quality. I have seen marginally better lenses, but only at twice the price. The included magnification adjustment lever is a nice addition that most LPVOs haven't included previously.
Cons:
- A bit difficult to focus at 1x

Love this Scope. Best LPVO I currently own. Throw lever is convenient. Many others do not include them. Clear glass. Love the recital. Easy adjustments. I will definitely consider getting another, if not more.

Bought this about 9 months ago for my 16" GLFA .223 wylde AR-15 and love this sight! Very well built, glass is nice, reticle is easy to use and illuminates well. Great all around scope and still pretty easy to use on 1X.

Great scope for the money, comes with an etched illuminated reticle, good clarity glass and it is first focal plane. It is win in my opinion for the price. I have owned the scope for a couple of years and have put a few rounds down range without having any problems. Durability, construction and reliability don't seem to be an issue.

I purchased the XP6 MIRAGE 1-6X24 FFP originally for my 5.56 but have since put it on my Winchester model 70 in 30-06. It was still fairly close to zero with only a few shots to reestablish zero. It has held up well to the 30-06 and has ince been my go-to for deer season. Glass is bright and clear and the FFP is great.
Pros:
- Easy to dial in, holds up to the recoil of the 30-06
Best Used for:
- hunting and target shooting

First of all, I wish Optics Planet would correct the description. The 1-6x24 is called the XP6 mirage, not XP8 mirage. Had some really bad quality issues with the Vortex Strike Eagle and Athlon Argos LPVO scopes I had to return but am really happy with the XP6 Mirage 1-6x24 FFP scope I recently bought to replace them. The reticle is rather basic and fully illuminated. Illumination works pretty well in brighter conditions but not sure if it would be considered day light bright or not. It does not have the windage dots and using BDC drop is only usable 4x and higher. It has the more expensive first focal plane reticle which takes a while to get used to if you have been using second focal plane scopes, but the more I use it, the more I like it. Clarity is good but not what I would categorize as spectacular. It gets the job done with a very slight loss of detail at the highest magnification, which seems common with LPVOs in this price range. Eye box forgiveness is good in 1x, but gets a little tricky in the high magnification level, which again is pretty common with LPVO scopes. One of the most important things for me with an LPVO scope is 1x easy 2 eyes open use without eye strain or double vision, and not a lot of wavy fish bowl refraction / distortion. I get that with my new XP6 Mirage scope. I had to return multiple Vortex scopes for these and other quality issue reasons. I finally have a scope that seems to work well now. If this one didn't work out I was going to try the Sw...

This LPVO has a very generous feature set for the price point. The glass isn't the clearest, but again, at the price point the light transmission and clarity is very good. The eyebox while not being what I would call generous, is forgiving enough that you can train to get a very consistent sight picture with it pretty quickly. My only "complaint" Read more about review stating Great LPVO for the $$$$$is that the brightness is nowhere near daylight bright, but during bright days I just turn the reticle off. Since it's an etched reticle, you can still pick it up no problem. It has held zero through some decent abuse sitting in one of Atibal's TPM mount. If you catch the scope on sale especially, it is a hard scope to beat. Kudos to Atibal.

I have owned many different optics, quite a few in 1-6 configuration. Most were SFp. As far as FFp optics, you cannot get better clarity in a 1-6× for the money. Opticsplanet.com also has one of the best prices on these around, no need to look anymore.
Pros:
- price, value, and features
