I've had this optic for a number of years now mounted on my BCM Recce 16 and enough time has passed to do a follow-up review. I love this scope and the reticle is amazing. Very accurate, has held zero, clear glass, looks sharp and a pleasure to shoot with. Love the rapid lever and you can get them in other colors on Atibal's site. Mine came with a free mount and that made the deal even better. I had a more expensive Aimpoint Pro on my rifle before and switched that out for this Atibal due to the magnification levels it had. The Aimpoint is a great red-dot, but I like the Atibal better for my use. I highly recommend.

This optic deserves the review! I mounted this on my Radical AR-15 5.56/.223.
The optic is zeroed at 50 yds and have had absolutely no issue reaching all the way out to 400yds without having to adjust cross hair on target. The illuminated reticle allows for great target acquisition in the dark.
I run 5k 2gun biathlons and constantly have my rifle in and out of my truck "yes without a gunbag" while working on my property or while around town. Needless to say the optic gets bounced around and beat on, I have put roughly 1.2k 55g .223 through the rifle with this mounted and have had NO issue with holding Zero.
The throw lever is a nice addition and allows for easy magnification adjustments on the fly rather than trying to grip the optic bezel while cold or something like that. Battery life is pretty good I do not run the lit reticle during day majority of the time as the optic has the reticle/cross hairs already. But at night it is a complete game changer paired with a good white light on my property or twilight run and guns.
Glass is still very clear only thing if any that I could knock this optic on is at 8x it gets just the slightest lens blur on the very edge of the lens and I only say this as that is me searching for something to complain about I never use this optic over x5-x6 anyways and always have the optic on x3.5-x4 and a canted red dot on my rifle. After all of this I will be trying to get one of Atibals STD's LOL to replace my sightmark reddot.

I got this on sale for my F1 AR 15. It is a little overkill for 5.56 but I couldn't pass up the price + It gives me an excuse to build an AR10 and see what it can do. The rapid lever is a cool touch, enjoy it more than I thought. Glass is clear. Super easy to shoot 2 eyes open on lower magnification. I'm definitely getting my monies worth on this product. Great service by Optic Planet as always.
Pros:
- clear glass
- 1-8x Magnification
- Can be used on multiple builds
- Etched in Reticle
- Easy throw lever
Cons:
- Shadowing at 8x
- Not Day Time Bright

Fisheye at 1x is really bad. Everything stretches and moves. It's very distracting. At 8x the eye box has shrunk so much that I have to break my cheek weld, and any slight movement loses it. Finally, someone else wrote that you can scrape off the Cerakote with your fingernail, and he was right! I loosely mounted the scope then took it off, and this was enough to damage the coating. I was easily able to flake it off with my nails.
I have no idea how this scope is so highly rated. This thing is no-name Amazon airsoft bad. Should be $80.
Cons:
- Doesn't matter what color it is because the paint chips off

I currently own 4 Atibal scopes. Three of them are XP8’s. Mounted on rifles from 300BO, 6.5 Grendel, 5.56, to .308….These things are incredibly versatile. Whether for CQB, hunting, or target shooting the variable magnification range is amazing…My favorite part tho is the reticle. The Diamond really draws your eye to the target and the dot in the center helps with that final bullseye acquisition…Lastly, as a bonus you have the illumination. For old eyes and low light situations, it’s a must. In fact, after buying my first Atibal XP8, I’ve not bought another optic of any brand w/o an illuminated reticle. I’ve not had to use it, but the no-BS lifetime warranty seals the deal…Get you one!!!!!
Pros:
- Variable magnification for distance shots
- illumianted reticle
- Variable Magnification

Great sight. Very and I mean very clear! Very well made amazing glass. I'll probably stick with atibal for now on. You can count on this to be very reliable. My next one will be the 1x10 or the 1x12. I can't get enough of how good these sights are. Haven't had one for a pistol yet but I definitely will try one.
