Atlas 5 H Bipod
I purchased this bipod for a custom 375 Cheytac built on a McMillan Tac-50 platform. This rig was built for ELR and is a real joy to shoot. The Atlas bipod does a great job of centering the rifle and allowing me to lock it in level then retain level as I pan slightly to engage different targets at distance. So far it has been used on 3 range sessions and one competition and performed flawlessly. I own four other Atlas bipods so the quality of this product comes as no surprise.
Solid base
It’s very solid. It would be nice if you didn’t need to loosen and rotate the whole thing to the side in order to engage / disengage the latch for placement / removal.

Top Teir product (in my humble opinion
Yes it’s expensive but with that being said you get what you pay for. Top quality manufacturing and finish. This is my second Atlas and I really needed something larger for both the MRAD and the M107a1. I’ve got limited experience in long range shooting but one fundamental rule stands in all cases, Stability. This product offers just that plus versatility. If your lacking stability in ELR shooting then your just wasting ammo and thus not improving the way you should. This bipod is user friendly and again top tier craftsmanship.

heavy duty
Perfect for a heavy gun, very stable expensive but well worth it. Changing the feet is very easy and the spikes really dig in

Bipod atlas 5h
Item is awesome. Great quality. Only disappointment was the item showed available but was actually on back order. A company should not advertise products they do not have in stock. Purchase was made and no communication was sent saying it was back ordered

Atlas 5 H bipod
If your looking for a tank of a bipod the 5 H is for you, if your looking for something smaller get a standard one. Overall after a month of shooting with it I couldn't be happier, along with the QD base I have used it on many fire arms and as long as the rifle has a good quality picatinny rail it should fit snug. Upside of its footprint its stable on just about everything from prone shooting on dirt, to shooting off rocks, even a shooting bench. Going into it knowing it's a big heavy animal it probably wouldn't make it to fun to lug around having it fixed to a hunting rifle. But I'm sure anyone buying this probably knows that. Buy this and have everyone envious of you at the gun ranges. If your into looking cool and being functional at the same time. Cheeers

You get what you pay for...
If you're looking for a super sturdy bipod for your big a$$ rifle with big a$$ optic just get this. Very nice pan and tilt, the tilt you can lock out with the provided machine screw or use the integral locking lever to lock in true level for uneven surfaces. My only advice is don't cheap out on legs for your hard earned and high dollar weapon system. I have about 6 grand invested into the rifle this went on and do not under any circumstances want it to hit the ground. This is on a 338 lapua mag and it handles the recoil no problem. I'd feel comfortable putting it on a 50 BMG! Not much I can say about this bipod that hasn't already been said in other internet reviews, youtube is your friend here. 5 stars to optics planet for shipping the same day I ordered even during the covid-19 madness.

Sturdy bipod
This bipod is extremely sturdy. You have a lot of pan and cant capability, but if you want a locked solid bipod can lock all movement down. This bipod will practically level itself when on angled ground. This gives the largest footprint I’ve seen on a majority of bipods. It is expensive, but you get what you pay for.

- allows for a lot of movement or none when locked down.
Cons:
- Cost is a little hard to deal with, but worth it.
- Will not fit in most range bags on the gun

Extremely well built.
Very happy with this bipod. Very stable. Many good features. First time shooting it took a minute to get used to it but now it’s quick and easy. Should have purchased the spiked feet at the same time for shooting on the ground.

Best Bipod I have ever purchased
I Purchased this Bipod after owning three other Atlas Bipods and loving them all I have to say about this one is its the best one of the bunch it works great on my 6.5 Creedmoor and is rock steady I will purchase more Atlas products as they develop them they are spot on.

Atlas 5H bipod for Prs rifle shooters
Awesome bipod hands down, love it, the best bipod, I ever bought, no play on the legs, when retracted all the way up, some play when retracted down. It’s pretty beefy! Nueraling feels grabby. Using this bipod on my custom X-Caliber SS cryo 28” heavy bull barrel 1/10T 6R Lr-308 Sr-25 rifle. Love the left to right cant features & tilt. Movement feels smooth. In the past, I’ve bought cheap bipods, they have a lot of play on the legs, which is not good, when it comes to precision rifles. Bought a Harris bipod for Rem 700 XCR TLR, kept my shots stable, legs were solid, no play, had the tilt features, had one height adjustment retractable legs, which I never had to use at the range, but did not have the left to right, canting feature.

- Strong & well made.
Cons:
- Over priced but worth it
Best Used for:
- Table or prone shooting. Larger calibers
