The standard rubber feet work OK, but they attract lots of dirt, and provide a slippery surface when mounting on stumps or any wet things.
These metal claws grab and hold onto just about everything--and I got them on a very heavy semi-auto.

Great Product
I purchased these feet for my bipod specifically for my elk hunt in pine country. The feet held firmly into the ground, and my rifle was stable even as I had to pan left to right. The feet also stabilized my rifle while zeroing on dirt. The only con I can think of is if you had to shoot across a canyon, or long range, and the only surface nearby is solid rock. The spiked feet wouldn't hold, but I can't confirm that to be true. Otherwise, these feet are great.
