Sir, all high quality trigger shoes have to be fitted. What you don't want is a trigger shoe that is loose sloppy fit top to bottom. You can remove material top and or bottom for fitment. It will not be seen once installed. What you cannot do is add material. The issue in this case is simply a lack of knowledge of the end user, not the produce.

Excellent Trigger
Very high quality. I did need to adjust the fit for up and down, easy enough. Went ahead and polished everything another step further just out of habit. Excellent fit and finish. Exactly what i was looking for.
Pros:
- Looks good

- None

Great in my STI 2011
Great trigger, expect to do a little fitting. Atlas has great videos on their website explaing it. I tried a medium flat and it was a hair too long, got a medium curved shoe from a buddy, it's just right. I had to file the trigger opening in the frame for the flat one. Then had to file some more for the curved one. There was some work involved with cheap needle file, but my trigger feels great. Eliminated most of the takeup and overtravel, it won't change your pull weight, just the slop in the trigger. As a bonus, I'm good at taking my 2011 apart now.

Pewologist
Easily the best aftermarket trigger on the market for the 2011 platform. You may or may not have to modify your 2011 grip for the trigger bow to fit. I did not have to modify my grip so the install was oretty straight forward. There is a reason why this is the go to trigger for Atlas.
Pros:
- polished from the factory
- thicker steel bow
- smoother rounded courners
Cons:
- None

This won't fit your gun
Okay, I bought two of these triggers, one for my 2011 and one for my 1911. I liked the way they look and the notion of variable length was interested. Well I struck out with both. The 2011 bow was too long. Nothing I could do to shorten it and as a result it wouldn't allow the grip safety to block the rearward motion. Ie. The grip safety won't work with that trigger. Today I tried the 1911 trigger. It's advertised for "standard" 1911s. My Springfield Officer is as standard as you can get. I this cast the shoe was just too tall to fit into the frame. I haven't tried sanding the trigger yet, but that is going to really damage the finish. But it's either the trigger or the frame of the gun, and it's not going to be the frame! My advice, don't buy these triggers! They are not built to any standard specs I know!
Pros:
- Pretty
Cons:
- won't fit
Best Used for:
- don't know a good use for them
