Very nice unit
Im in the military and this is what we use on convoy duty. I spent over 5 hours with these attached to my face. Had to change the batteries 2 times (AA) and that was annoying. Other wise they are pretty decent. THe focus works really good with them and you can easily and quickly adjust tho thing clo...

Lower resolution
I see the newer release model has a resolution of 45-54 lpm as opposed to this ones 40-45 lpm. If I was going to use a 3x magnification lense I'd want a higher base resolution since resolution would go down with magnification.
Great Product
Can't beat the quality for the price. I think best bang for your buck that is out there. My friend had some NVG's that were 3 times the price and quite frankly they were pretty darn close to identical. Very pleased with the purchase.

Looks good out in the yard, but had a full moon,so there was plenty of ancient light. Looking forward to getting them out in the field. They are not exactly like the military ones but seem like a goos product.
