First, initially this was pretty expensive but I own other ATN items and figured it would last. After owning it for over a year and after the warranty expired I started having problems. One was the fact it was prone to burn ins
and flaring and needed to be reset constantly. Another was I lost color function and some of the brightness degraded. I planned on returning it to ATN for repairs or recalibration, but after speaking to a rep on the phone it was obvious it would be cost prohibitive. I definitely wouldn't purchase it again.
Pros: small size
Cons: numerous defects after very small usage

Im a professional air soft player and take part in tournaments all over the world, not only in the US. I was looking for some thermal vision to play in the woods with. Initially,I was searching for some night vision and then later I decided to purchase a product that I can use in the day and evening time. I also, travel internationally, so I thought to buy a thermal vision and that is exportable for events. I found an ATN OTIS10-9Hz. I also, tried OTS14 (goggles) and OTIS17 (rifle scope), but unfortunately they are only available for the US market. The OTIS10-9HZ is a great indisputable advantage because it is perfect in detecting hidden foes in high grass, and bushes. I also found that the OTIS10 is really useful when chasing somebody and because you cant lose the contact with that person due to the thermal vision. I like the design of the OTIS10. Also, the camera is compact and lightweight. My teammates liked it as well, that they are thinking of getting one too.
