Best Value for Entry level Thermal Scope
I like this scope a lot. Great entry level thermal scope. You can't beat the price. I'm hunting in a closed area with woods around fields. Shots I'll take will be no more than 150 yards. This scope is perfect for that. I also like the fact it doesn;t have all the features like video, wifi, photo, ra...

Screen is distorted because of recoil
I have had this ThorLT 3-6x for four months. The ThorLT 3-6x is not handling the recoil from my 6.5 Creedmoor. When I fire a shot, the screen on the ThorLT 3-6x becomes distorted. I have to turn it off and on after every shot to get a clear screen.
Unreliable short life
Had it about 4 years, used for a couple of hours total, mainly for critters getting too close to the house at night. Went for it the other day, wouldn't turn on, plugged it in and nothing. No longer charging, ATN support offered to check it out for $35 + $100/hr as it is out of warranty. Shortest lived scope I've ever owned.
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Non replaceable battery

ATN ThOR LT 3-6x50mm
Used this scope a pretty much every night then it quit holding zero. I called ATN and spoke with Kelly Prince and she was extremally helpful and I was able to send it back and have it repaired.

ATN Thor LT 3-6x50mm
Product wouldn't turn on after the recommended 6 hour charge time. I tried a different charger and charged for an additional 8 hours. All I got out of this was a click and a red light flash.
Pros:
- Optics planet's return policy was excellent

Just What I Want It To Do
Technically it hasn't warmed up enough here yet, so I haven't tried this out. But it is mounted to my CZ 512 .22 WMR, which is unfired too. I think it's a good match!!! I didn't want anything too complex, video & such, and the price was right too. I may have to get back into coon hunting.....
Pros:
- Simple, solidly built, less expensive than current models. Has everything I need.
Cons:
- For some, this would be lack of doo dads, but for me that's a plus.

Atn Thor lt
So far seems to be a nice thermal. Seems to be durable and finishe is nice. Haven’t feild tested it yet but will be hunting grey fox next year. Have always used a red light and standard scope. So far scope has been working well and battery seems great as of know I would recommend this thermal but need to run it through some hunts to see it’s real capabilities. I will further review it when I have done some more testing like zero it, range test it and finally run on some night hunts.

Great entry level thermal scope
100% recommend! Using it with a suppressed 458 Socom. Image quality is good, it automatically adjusts to different environments, you can easily distinguish a cat’s figure at nearly 150 yards, the level of magnification is adequate for around 200 yard shots which is more than my gun is good for so it’s perfect. A few things if it is your first thermal that I never saw in reviews 1. You are looking at a bright digital image with one eye which will cause it to dilate and give you whacky vision until your eye readjusts to the dark, just FYI 2. You can’t see heat signature through thick woods lol or through windows up close 3. Even this low level scope has excellent thermal imaging, it’s perfect for what most people want them for, the higher cost ones are mostly added features like photo/video or range finders and ballistic tables, ultra high resolution images, all cool features but I was poor enough already…
Pros:
- good image quality
- Perfect short range scope
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- inside 200 yards
- hog/ predator hunting

Do not reccomend.
Ordered and mounted the optic on a 5.56 ar15 for coyote hunting so recoil should not have been a problem. Everything worked great until i shot it, after each shot the screen would show green/ white lines like a broken tv and had to be powered off and back on to clear it right out of the box. Learn from my mistake and just spend the extra few bucks and order a new one.

Perfect for the price
This is the 3rd Atn scope that I have, it is the most basic of the three, since it does not have recording nor can I install the Rangerfinder abl. I bought it to install it on a high quality air rifle with which I can shoot hares and coyotes at night within the range of 100 meters
I like it because of how light it is and without much of a menu to remember. The only drawback is the power button that sticks out a lot and can turn on during transport and lose battery
