Joshua McFall's Review of ATN X-Sight 4K Pro Edition 5-20x70mm Smart HD 30mm Tube Day/Night Rifle Scope
The scope was delivered in January but I wasn't medically cleared to shoot until this week, so it is now more than a month past the 30 day return period.
This past Sunday I discovered the picture quality is very poor. At 100 yards a 6 inch target is blurry/fuzzy. At 300 yards the one inch red bullseye of a black target could not be seen at all! The entire target appeared to be solid black. In spite of poor image quality I figured with my spotters' help and a little guess work I could zero at 300 yards well enough to hit Life Size steel targets, but when I attempted to create a new bullet profile the system generated name/nomenclature was identical to the fist one, I tried again five more times and got the same result. After turning the scope off and restarting it the problem correct, but I still have 5 profiles which are not zeroed bearing the same name as the one that is zeroed at 100 yards...

Pros:
- If you see someone with one of these at the range you know you can out shoot that guy.
Cons:
- Not HD as advertised.
- glitchy software
- Considering that testing a scope requires firing a gun, 30 days is not sufficient time to evaluate this feature rich, expensive item.
Best Used for:
- The guy you are competing against
