Worked As Intended
Got out to the range to try the standard (non-ambi) Atrius Development Group forced reset selector in a pretty basic setup and figured I’d share what happened.
Rifle was a Smith & Wesson M&P15 running a Rise Armament RA-240 trigger with an H3 buffer.
Going into it I wasn’t sure if I’d end up needing to start swapping parts around or tuning things to get everything happy together, but that never happened. Loaded mags and just started shooting.
The biggest thing that stood out was how uneventful the whole session was—which honestly is exactly what you want. The rifle stayed consistent the whole time and never gave me a reason to stop and mess with it. No chasing problems, no adjustments between strings, no “maybe this next mag will tell the real story.”
By the end of the range session I had put 6 full magazines through it and realized I hadn’t had a single issue the entire time. For this particular combination, the M&P15 + RA-240 + H3 buffer seemed to work together really well. Once I got into the rhythm, it just stayed there and kept running.
I know every rifle can behave differently and results can depend on the exact parts used, but if anyone is curious about this setup specifically, my experience was straightforward: install it, take it out, and shoot it.
Final tally for the day: six magazines downrange and nothing to complain about.

Ensure you have a low shelf lower, a H2 or H3 buffer and follow the installation instructions/online videos on how to do a proper function test after reassembly. (order more ammo while when you place your order---you'll need it!!)

Unfortunate
I really wanted to like this. Got it installed, moved freely. Went to rack it to check tolerance and it shattered. Not mortaring not racking hard, just trying to check clearance and score as per Atrius directions. Shattered in like 10 pieces. Theres no way this would handle the bolt cycling. Like I ...

Frt needs work
I think I will be able to get this to work thanks to the utube videos that explain the problems . It is not a drop in and forget about it unit. Thankfully I am pretty good with delicate metal removal.

Using a PSA Lower, H2 buffer, standard junk spring with a Rise Armament 140 drop in trigger. Upper is a BCM 16” complete, runs mag after mag both single and super. Makes a brass rainbow ejecting right at 4 oclock. I don’t know why there are so many negative reviews, mine works great.

Atrius FRT selector
This is the second one of these I've purchased and installed. Works great, easy to put in. I'm adding a three round limiter as well.

Forced reset safety
Super easy to install and set up. The manufacturer has videos of what to do and look for.

Absolute Trash
I think the problem could have been solved with a spring replacement from the Atreus Company. But their refusal to even acknowledge a problem was very telling of a no customer service company. Very poor indeed. Believe me, I did everything on my part to troubleshoot the problem. I used their recommended favorite trigger, I changed out the buffer, buffer spring, bolt carrier group. I even removed the muzzle devices. I polished the bolt. Finally tried to safety in another rifle. No function at all there. Absolute trash don’t waste your money.

Atrius FRS
Absolutely works as advertised.It will take minor tuning to get running correctly..heavier buffer spring,buffer weight and a compatible trigger/lower receiver are required..750 rounds thru mine and runs flawlessly..

Good so far
Had to shave a little off my trigger for the third position to work. Cams possibly oversized. Waiting on buffer. So, I cannot give a full review. Also atrius customer support via email proved to be useless.
