Review for
Atrius Development Forced Reset Selector
Got out to the range to try the standard (non-ambi) Atrius Development Group forced reset selector in a pretty basic setup and figured I’d share what happened.
Rifle was a Smith & Wesson M&P15 running a Rise Armament RA-240 trigger with an H3 buffer.
Going into it I wasn’t sure if I’d end up needing to start swapping parts around or tuning things to get everything happy together, but that never happened. Loaded mags and just started shooting.
The biggest thing that stood out was how uneventful the whole session was—which honestly is exactly what you want. The rifle stayed consistent the whole time and never gave me a reason to stop and mess with it. No chasing problems, no adjustments between strings, no “maybe this next mag will tell the real story.”
By the end of the range session I had put 6 full magazines through it and realized I hadn’t had a single issue the entire time. For this particular combination, the M&P15 + RA-240 + H3 buffer seemed to work together really well. Once I got into the rhythm, it just stayed there and kept running.
I know every rifle can behave differently and results can depend on the exact parts used, but if anyone is curious about this setup specifically, my experience was straightforward: install it, take it out, and shoot it.
Final tally for the day: six magazines downrange and nothing to complain about.

As many builders in this space know, there’s nothing “plug-and-play” ready about a super safety selector. This Atrius was no exception.
While Atrius includes a "Lever Blocker" designed to cap cam travel and prevent over-rotation under the hammer, achieving flawless timing requires precise geometry. A major pain point for users centers around the mechanical tolerance between the lever cam and the rear of the trigger shoe.
Because of slight manufacturing variances across different lower receivers and trigger manufacturing batches, users frequently encounter binding. If the cam lever cannot pass freely behind the trigger group, the selector will lock up, or worse, the reset mechanism will shear under the force of the bolt carrier group cycling. Resolving this typically requires tedious tuning—either meticulously shaving material off the lever cam or carefully profiling the back of the trigger shoe.
My personal experience with the G-Lever perfectly mirrors these struggles. I paired the safety with a Geissele SSA trigger, expecting a relatively smooth installation given the "G-Lever" branding. Instead, I ran into severe binding mid-cycle. No Semi-Auto function, no Super Safe function. It was a one-shot wonder of an HK416 build.
To get the system to cycle without locking up, I had to take a Dremel and heavily modify the back end of the trigger shoe. I had to steadily grind away a significant profile of metal from the rear lower half of the shoe to create enough clearance for

What more can be said, other than you get everything you need with high quality materials and at a low cost? Excellent packaging, and all your essentials organized in a small package.
