Great Ear Protection
I like these so much more thank my Howard Leight Bolts — and I even upgraded those to have gel earpads. Out of the box these feel a little nicer but are very similar. Audio boost is louder and the dual controls for bluetooth are really awesome. I'm not recommending it, but you could play music at th...

They suck, worse than some $20 active earmuffs
Where to start, the biggest issues are the QUALITY issues. The sound quality is comparable to a dollar store headphones which was a surprised because I thought the bluetooth 5 was going mean they would also have good speaker drivers. The unit it self feels like a cheap 10 dollar earmuffs. The bigger...

Misleading Noise Reduction
Optics Planet has these listed as 27 NRR. They are not. They are 27 SNR. Other than that they do a good job of noise reduction, but the Bluetooth speaker is abysmal. Can barely hear it and cheap/ tinny sound. I wanted Bluetooth so I could hear timer countdown. Almost impossible to hear. Too bad, because the Axil in ears are really pretty good.

Great Earpro
Setup was easy. Put the included batteries in and turn it on. The Bluetooth connection was easy as well. Had everything set up and ready to use within minutes. Is the audio quality as good as i expected?? It's better than I expected! Is the audio quality as good as a set of name-brand earbuds? No.. their primary purpose is for hearing protection. It feels like I could wear these all day long and not feel much, if any, discomfort. I will say, if you have larger ears, you might want to look for replacement ear cups or a different set of earpro altogether. My ears barely fit inside the cups that come factory, which still allows for all day comfort. If the cups were any smaller my ears would get smashed inside. Could you still wear them? Yeah, but the longer you wear them the more discomfort you might feel. Could potentially reduce the hearing protection as well.

Poor sound quality
I gave up on walkers since they sold the company the products and cs are absolute garbage- 3 pairs of recon BT in a row didn't work out of the box, so I tried axil -they work as earpros but the BT volume is so low and the mic quality is so bad its unusable.
Could have been a bad set from the factory but I'm done.
Customer service at Optics Planet was excellent.

Great for shop work and shooting
Tested these at work and out at the range. The Bluetooth is great for music or podcasts at work and you can talk to coworkers in loud environments without taking off the headphones. They are comfortable and don’t get in the way while shooting with them.

get it on sale and its good
They work well enough but the sound mitigation is not what i expected (had some ringing in my ears after shooting some .308) and the sound (both bluetooth and speakers)is a little lower then id like. Just double up your earpro and put these over it with the volume on max.

terrible broken bever worked
Doesn’t work, no help. Had to go to mfg site for instructions and that was no help. Can’t find the order on my OpticsPlanet buy list and can’t call anyone for help cuz the exit is an hour.
