I placed an order for two sets of mounts to change from 3/8" dovetail to weaver mounts on my 22 winchester magnum. When I received my items, the screws were rusty. I ended up removing all rust and applying 3 coats of blueing.I think B Square should have done a better job to prevent rusting.

Good low profile adapter. Solid build. Does not accept picatinny scope rings. Crossbar passage is slotted for a "Weaver" style scope ring that have a narrow cross bar channel. Could be modified easily. They adequate scope clearance for my 6x24x54AOE Opticsking (cheapo fun scope), and my Nikon 3x9x40BDC doesn't look too bad either on the B-Squares. Rifle comes up in a nice position. I like my scopes to fit as close to the barrel as possible. The 40mm objective lens of the Nikon is about .5" above the barrel on my vintage Winchester 275 WMR that has arched 3/8 dovetail receiver grooves. I just purchased Burris XTR Signature scope rings that won't fit this B-Square adapter because they are picatinny compatible only. Burris advertises the XTR's (signature's) as picatinny or Weaver compatible.........not, however Burris "Z" Signature rings will and do fit The B-Square adaptors. The "Signature" rings are awesome. I will be keeping the B-Squares because I do like them, and will find a use for them on another build. For this build, I'm going with a Weaver TO-10 48202 from PlanetOptics as well. Lowest adaptor base available for me. Fit is a very tight (I don't think it will fit tight) slide on adapter with set screws (stop screws) that I will be replacing with nylon tipped set screws. Any way I look at it, I'll have to modify an adaptor to make myself happy. The Weaver is less than 11 bucks. I will be extremely pleased if the Weaver adaptor turns out no less than perfect for me. Excellent product. I was able to mount these on my 22 rimfire and now I can use just about any scope out there with weaver attachment-style. They are a little tricky to slide on the dovetail and may have to be expanded (screwdriver) or compressed (pliers) a bit but this is really not a problem.

Bought these adapters hoping to be able to use Weaver style rings on a Henry H001TV .17 HMR rifle.

I had the Burris Signature Rimfire 1" Medium Rings (420554) but they were just too low to allow the BSA Sweet 17 scope to clear the rear sight. I got the same Signature Rimfire Rings in "High" but they now had more height than necessary. So I tried these adapters with the Burris Signature Zee Weaver-Mount 1" Medium Rings (420521).

Height-wise, the B-Square adapters w/ the Burris Weaver-style 1" Medium rings were right in the middle between the Burris Rimfire Medium and High Rings. Perfect!

When I tried to slide the B-Square adapters on the Henry's 3/8" dovetail they were closed too much and wouldn't fit. I had to take a small flat blade screwdriver and open them up a bit. After a couple of tries, I got them open enough to slide on fairly easily. Put them in the positions I needed and snugged down the two allen screws on each adapter. They are held firmly in place, and the correct size allen (hex) wrench is supplied w/ the adapters.

Mounted the Burris Signature 1" Medium Rings, attached and leveled the scope and I'm done.

Even with having to spread them open a bit, there was little frustration with these adapters.

Wow, these risers worked perfectly, stepped up the 3/8" rail on a Geco .22 Training Rifle to allow for the mounting of a 3-9x50 scope. Now the scope sets at a comfortable height allowing the bolt to work properly. I would recommend this product to anyone looking to use their weaver scope rings on a 22 rifle.

I needed to mount a Tru Glo red dot sight to my .17hmr pistol and the one from Tru Glo raised the sight an inch.I called Optics Planet and they recommended this adaptor which I ordered and it is perfect.
