If you are going to mount a scope on a rifle, this one is a good one. I was surprised to find that it screws down so you do not have to hold it on top of the rifle to get the rifle level in the gun vice. I was not aware of that when I purchased it, and was happy to see that I could mount it like a scope ring and tighten it and then level the rifle in the vice.

This level seems to be of good quality, but with no bar underneath to lock between rails it seems it will move under recoil. May only be suited for use with leveling a scope on installation. Time will tell.

Nice little Level. Small and doesn't get in the way. Not bad for the money. It lined up with my level
That I use to mount scopes with. If your rings are axtra low on your scope ( .87 ) you will have to
Shave a little of the top so your scope doesn't hit it.

This little guy is nicely constructed and the bubble is easy to see. I mounted it on a scope base. One concern is depending on how low you mount your scope you might not be able to squeeze it under. I don't have that problem because of a 50mm objective bell that would bottom out on the barrel before hitting this level.
Compare this to the levels that mount to the scope instead. What are the advantages and disadvantages? Sure both your scope and your rifle should be level but if I had to choose one I choose the rifle. After mounting this and leveling the rifle I place the scope on its rings and then place a small hand level on the top turret to level the scope. Now everything is perfect.

I started long range shooting and hunting a few years ago and could not bring myself to pay the price most manufacturers want for a mountable shooting level until I found the B-Square. I ordered 2 of these for 2 separate rifles and they are worth every penny. Easy to install and not intrusive to the use of either rifle. The plus side of the level is you can install it and use it to level your scope to the bore of the rifle. Hard to beat for the price.
Best Used for:
- distance shooting and scope installation

This unit is nice and small and unobtrusive, but easily seen when you are shooting at the bench. With most bases or rails you have multiple location options and it is usable on the right or left side. I think it is the best value of all the levels.
Pros: Easy to install and use.
Cons: None that I can see.

Helps make scope mounting a breeze by insuring the gun is verticle when looking for accuracy when using dovetail type mounts.
Pros: Easy set up, Wrench included

I like the fact that it mounts to the rail instead of the scope. It works good on my rifle but may be too short and hard to see on some setups. The only negative I can see is the bubble is small and doesn't fill the space between the lines like your use to seeing on a level. It's built well enough for normal use a great product for the price point.
Pros: Mounts to rail, low profile, inexpensive
Cons: Bubble is small and doesn't fill the space between the lines

Would really like to see an additional model offered that is a little shorter, to keep it our of harms way. Mounted on my AR-10 it hangs our farther than any other part of the gun/scope, and would take the full brunt of a side drop. Suggest protrude no farther than most "tactical" turrent caps on scopes do. It really is a brilliant design
Pros: What a bang for the buck!
Cons: None as designed

Great so far. Doing everything the more costly ones are at a fraction of the price.
