Grip plug fit well and had a nice color match. Would purchase again

Its hard to review a grip plug without also reviewing the grip and the B5 grip has become a favorite. I like the steeper angle, the texture, the light weight, everything. But in this case the grip plug is the reason the B5 grip has become my favorite grip. Most of my AR rifles and pistols wear a red dot and a weapon light, or at least the capability of mounting a light. And I always carry backup batteries for both optic and light on the rifle/pistol. In the past that meant a Vortex rail mounted 2032 carrier and a Magpul grip with 123 core. But the B5 grip core will hold two 123 batteries plus a 2032 battery so I can carry all my batteries in the grip.
They seem to have nailed the fitment perfectly since the plug is nice and snug in the grip but can still be easily removed with a firm tug.
I have, I don't know, five or six of these combos of grip and plug on various rifles and pistols, so that should tell you my opinion of them.

Love this little plug. Was surprised when I seen it, and how functional it is. Has spaces for batteries, AA & CR123. As well as a slave for a little tool. Water tonight even

Works as advertised. Simple and effective. It does what it was designed to do.

Before the purchase I was concerned that the plug wouldn't be snug. I was wrong and it works awesome. I don't always keep it loaded but the fit works well.

It plugs the hole. Good fit, stash what you need. Batteries, candy, gum or oil. Stash as you please, it will be secured.

Worked as expected. Good purchase. I would purchase again.
