Not drilled for taper pins
It is fact a kit, but mine had everything but the end cap (which is not pictured anyways). Mil-spec barrel nut but no end cap. It also included a sling swivel, but without the end cap, you can't complete a mil-spec build. The sight was also not drilled for the taper pins. So unless you can drill them yourself, you will have to find a gunsmith that has experience with A2 sights.

Its your standard a2 front sight post. It works well. What more can i say

Requires pin
Purchased without prior research. Building an A1/2 replica and picked up this integrated gas block/front sight. Perfect fit on the barrel, however, this requires a pin to hold in place. I was mistaken in thinking this was a "clamp-on". The hole in the block is not threaded, and no set screw is included. Had this been included, I would not hesitate to pick up another. The product is very well made, unless you are willing to drill your barrel, I'd look elsewhere.

Missing some parts
It's a well made product. The fit and finish is good. But this kit did not come with the taper pins for pinning the front sight gas block to the barrel. Even though it is shown on the photo. Other than that it's good

It's a good set but...
It's a good product. I like the construction quality. But unfortunately mine did not come with taper pins for securing the front sight/gas block
