This stuff works. I used it only twice so far, and it CLPed as it should. I would give it five stars, but it has strong fumes. The instructions say to use in a well-ventilated place, and they mean it. I got a slight headache the first time I used it with inadequate ventilation. Otherwise, great...

this is liquid not aerisol
so I like Ballistol but I like the spray form i use hoppes liquid to clean exposed parts and I find aerosol spray is much easier to spray in trigger hammer area or sears (parts you dont disassemble every cleaning) maybe it would be good for bolt carriers?? but I use hoppes on those and then oil s...

excellent! non-petroleum cleaner
Excellent cleaner and metal preservative for air guns and firearms. I use this in both being a synthetic-based CLP (cleaner, lubricant, preservative)
Being a non-petroleum product, it is a perfect for air guns being that it does not deteriorate or dry out rubber or nylon seals and o-rings.
For firearms, it also is an excellent cleaner. I use it as a last and final step in the cleaning of my firearms.
It does not affect finishes on metal whether black nitrate, bluing or other such finishes. Whether polycarbonate, nylon, fiberglass or even wood should not be affected by the cleaner.
I use it as my mainstay cleaner, lubricant and it leaves a preservative coating to resist rust and corrosion on metal.
A definite recommended buy!

This cleaner is really great! I use this to start the cleaning process. Then I use it to finish the cleaning process.

Great CLP Lubricants
I have both the liquid and aerosol. I use each kind depending on the job. Great for tools, wood, leather, rubber, G10, knives & guns. Still using Slip2000 EWL, EWl 30wt & Gun Lube to keep my semis & ARs running but this stuff is a great CLP lubricant.
