I have researched this round and have heard nothing but great things. So I found a good deal price was great but upon receiving all the ballistic tips are offset in the projectile. By alot you can see it with the eye, in the same order I purchased some Hornady e l d x that have a similar polymer tip and that round is completely uniform along with every other polymer tip round I have ever purchased including much cheaper ammunition. This is supposed to be a higher end copper hunting load and the hole Pont of use a lighter bullet is to shot faster and flatter, there's no way that it's going shoot right this going to affect the accuracy of projectile I have not shot them yet was waiting for a response from Optics Planet or Barnes .Have done a ton of research on this load like any hunter should. I reached out to Optics planet sent in pictures and received nothing thanks for That Opticsplanet all that being said this should be a great round for medium sized game out to 400 yards if you do your part, and from all the research I've done I have not came across this problem in any forums or you tube, it basically just comes down to if your rifle likes it, because not all rifles are the same. Just seems like my luck. I do not ever really leave reviews or try to put somebody down I have usually had a very good experience with Optics planet. Just when you spend that kind of money for a higher end product you expect that kind of quality I can go over to Palmetto State and buy a black sa...

I buy the 130 grain Barnes in 308 for my grandson. They work out well for him, they are accurate and low recoil. The Nosler works great in my 280 AI.

I recently bought a Ruger American gen 2 Ranch in 308 and wanted to try this ammunition as a possible deer round. I was able to get a 3 shot .71 center to center group at 100 yards. It’s a real a real keeper.

Excellent lower-recoil ammo. Accurate, too! All-copper so it will penetrate deeper. Good for medium game (deer, antelope, hogs) as well as larger game (mule deer, elk).

Mod70 featherweight 22"barrel 1-12 twist,chronograph@ 3128fps. Shot a .045" 3shot group@ 100yds.This is a very picky rifle,so was really impressed with the accuracy& velocity of this cartridge. Ordered 2more boxes in an attempt to get same lot number,& I did. Hope to use this fall for deer & hogs in river bottom swamps here in Georgia. Great service as always from Optics Planet & hoping this review helps. Highly recommend this ammo!
Pros:
- Fast,accurate & tough bullet

I have no had any issues with these so far at the range. Will be hunting with them this fall, seems people either love or hate their performance on game animals. There is a rumor out there that some batches have a bad crimp and you can spin the bullet in the case right out of the box. I have been checking for this and have not found a bad one yet.
