It's ok but ... - Barska AR Quad Picatinny

Not a major negative comment but I thought I'd share it. The initial issue I had with this is that the gas block has to be installed after the rail. So if you don't want the rail to be flapping around while installing the gas block, you have to tighten the collar screw to the upper then insert the gas block. Then, once the gas block is in position, you have to completely loosen the collar so you can turn the rail to allow an allen wrench to get to the gas block set screws to tighten it. The thing that bothered me the most is that after completing the install, the top picatinny rail is not level or on the same plain as the upper picatinny. It's a couple of degrees off to the left and since I have to mount a sight on the rail, that was a big concern. I can't loosen the barrel nut as that would take it out of spec. I was able to turn the rail a bit to the right to line up with the upper by loosening all the brass screws at the end of the rail, turn the rail to the right while tightening the collar screw. A couple of the brass screw no longer lines up with the hole so I was only able to tighten two of them.

Overall, it looks good from a distance but my front sight is still off a little bit to the left.
