It's ok but ...
Not a major negative comment but I thought I'd share it. The initial issue I had with this is that the gas block has to be installed after the rail. So if you don't want the rail to be flapping around while installing the gas block, you have to tighten the collar screw to the upper then insert the gas block. Then, once the gas block is in position, you have to completely loosen the collar so you can turn the rail to allow an allen wrench to get to the gas block set screws to tighten it. Barska AR 6.75 Inch Review
So far the part is working. Other than the gas block tube hole where the it enters thru the rail being a bit smaller and need to be drilled. I like it. The part was even out, went in flush with the threads, all the parts comes in the packaging and does not require removable separate balance pins because it is built into the rail. Attachments such as flashlights and lasers are able to fit in not problem, same goes with the vertical grips or bipod. (Why need a bipod with a carbine I'll never know). Finally able to vent out the heat more on how open the rail structure is.
I give it a 9/10 only because it requires a bit of drilling to make sure it fits will with the gas block tube

Does not work with a gas system
Ordered this item and it was listed as compatible with standard AR carbine rifles. Well after getting it mounted, the gas tube hole is too small. I'm going to have to drill it to get the gas tube through it. Not quite what expected.

Doesn't Work
I hate to be critical of a product but unfortunately this doesn't work. I had a friend put together an ar pistol for me with this rail and it wasn't centered and he couldn't even install the gas tube. So I had to buy a new rail. And before someone thinks my friend doesn't know what he is doing he works on guns all the time and he put together my LR-308 and it is perfect! My guess is this best works for an airsoft gun, which is a total bummer because I was really hoping this would work.
