Love this scope, good image and the controls work smoothly. At full zoom(60x) there is a tiny bit of blue light distortion but that is minimal. The included tripod is terrible but I intended on upgrading to a full size tripod anyway. This scope will sit in my living room where I can watch for mountain goats on the cliffs about 2 miles away.
Pros:
- Clear image
- Smooth controls
- Good quality lenses and tube
- Soft carry case
Best Used for:
- Static landscape or wildlife viewing

Based decision to buy on review comments. Perhaps my scope was defective, but I encountered the following:
- Scope is HUGE and won't fit any range bag I would carry.
- Included (flimsy) tripod is clearly inadequate to stabilize a large and long range scope. Mfr shouldn't include this tripod.
- Eyepiece was extremely hard to turn and I feared might twist off. Fortunately not, and perhaps continued use would reduce the force required, but with its resistance I wasn't able to adjust focus without moving it off-target.
- Focus dial turns endlessly and never really brought an object into crisp focus - even at the lowest zoom.
- At the best focal point the edges are blurred. Perhaps superior optics are worth the premium price.
I thought I had found a reasonably priced range scope with good optics but this isn't it. I am beginning a RMA process today.

Chose this scope based on reviews from others. Thought I had done a good research job but didn't look closely at the size - it's HUGE. That's on me. But probably a no-go for many range shooters. Cheap included tripod isn't sufficient. Very tight zoom ring feels like it's going to twist off. Maybe it loosens over time but is a big problem on the flimsy supplied tripod. Focus dial turns forever and didn't really focus crisply. A little blurry around the edges once focused. Was surprised there was no packing around the scope in the box. With a rattle while I opened it I was expecting something loose but probably just the zipper on the case. Plan to exchange for another scope, probably spending more for known better optics.

Fantastic spotting scope for the range, I can see groups clearly out to 300 yards and more. This would be also be useful for any optics needs camping, anything outdoors. Nice carry bag. I also bought an extendable tripod to use, as the tripod that comes with it is not very high

As the other reviewer's have said the scope is good for the money, the wide lens allows a lot of light in so it's good in low light conditions.
The eyepiece allows you to change magnification and the more you zoom in the less clarity there is. The eyepiece has markings that go from 20X to 60 X. I mostly leave it between 20x and 40x because at 60x things are out of focus. The optics just aren't that good to see details distances beyond 300 yards. but at the same time the atmosphere is working against you at that distance also.
The tripod is the miniature kind it's meant for tabletop viewing, or while prostrate lying on the ground. If you're going into the field and want to stand up you need another tripod. And as the other reviewers have said it's pretty cheap.

Excellent spotter the eye relief is a bit close though
The tripod lacks full range of motion unfortunately.
But thats an easy fix getting a new tripod.
So if you get this plan on getting a fully functioning/adjustable tripod.
I would give this a good recommendation for the money.

The Barska Gladiator20-60x90 is a true warrior of a spotting scope. Optics are clear at all magnification. The oversized lens allows me to use this scope long past sundown or when cloud cover and drizzle normally darken clear observation. The purchase price from Optics Planet is a best buy. I recommend it highly, even if you have to buy it at MSRP.

Instructions where for multiple items and were a bit confusing. Good scope up to about 400 yards after that will need high visibility targets.
Pros: Objective lens size
Cons: Instructions

Nice scope, good value, make sure you have a sturdy tripod to mount it on, as it is powerfull.
Pros: Powerfull, nice resolution, can see .223 holes in carboard at 200 yards.
Cons: focus a little slow, could us a fast and slow focus adjustment.

This is my first spotting scope. It works well at the shooting range. I used it at 600 yds spotting for others shooting steel. I can see 22 holes at 300 yds in the Shoot N See targets but not on white paper. I made a wood base to mount it to as the tripod is just too small and weak. The large objective gives a big exit pupil.
