Nice little locker
Love the biometric reader. Nice little locker for the bedroom. For sure keeps the unauthorized kids out. My son who is 11 and very well trained with weapons has access because he is often home alone after school and we have a convicted felon who lives across the street. This locker probably wouldn't keep that guy out for long but my son or I sure would. Not huge or heavy but hey its a locker, not a safe. Bolt it to the floor or the wall and presto, some crackhead can't just break in and walk out with your bedroom weapons. It's going to take him some time. No longer need to worry about my sons ...

So Far it Works
I knew before buying that this wasn’t a “safe” safe as in it’s more like a small gun locker or cabinet. And still I was surprised at just how thin the sheet metal is. My bad I should have researched more…..
The safes exterior has a few places where the enamel didnt adhere to the metal and bubbled up and flaked off. To me this isnt a big deal since it’s not gonna be a living room center piece or anything.
The interior panel that covers the door and all the locking mechanisms had a few sheet metal screws that were half way tightened. Not really a good sign of a production quality. Also I found a ball bearing rolling around the bottom of the safe. The ball bearing was a little rusty which means not the greatest material used. And a poor or a lack of final product inspection. Oh and it’s possible one of the safe components is missing a ball bearing.
The good is the locker works great! Easy to program and the finger reader opens for the correct fingers only. The key pad has no issues and I’m completely happy with this aspect of the safe….now hopefully it just lasts.

feeling had
I put this in my cart at the $409 price waiting for over a week to get the credit back on a item I returned. Two days before the credit price was raised to $455 now a few days after I purchased it it is back to $409. That’s some pretty weird sales going on don’t you think? Yep can’t help the feeling of being had!!!!

Won't fit with optics..
This safe is super easy to set up and get going. Finger print scanner works well. Haven't had a problem with it yet. The only issue is that this safe is REALLY small. My AR15 with a scope and vertical grip will not fit straight on. It has to be angled in diagonally and there's no way I'm getting another one in there. Even without the grip, the scope alone makes it impossible to get in. And if you have a riser attached I'm not sure it will fit at all. The door opens up 90° and that's all. When the door shuts, anything inside the safe needs to be pushed back about 2 inches to give to door clearance. Overall though it's good for what I need it for...1 AR and 2 pistols with 15 pmags for the rifle and 5 mags for the pistols. Would recommend getting magnets to attach things to the inside walls.
Pros:
- Easy set up, compact, fits in closet. Finger print scanner works well.
Cons:
- Not much room inside safe, needs another shelf. Door only opens to 90 degrees. Needs clearance inside for door to close.
Best Used for:
- 1-2 rifles and a few pistols. More rifles if not grip or optic attached.

Good, but thin
The keypad has worked flawlessly for me. Just beware how narrow the safe is - you can fit 4-5 guns depending on the type, but they'll be packed in there. The door is quite heavy, so when the door is open the safe will tip over, unless you mount the safe, or put something underneath it to stabilize it.

Great Safe for Casual Security - Keypad is Very Loud Though
I purchased this safe on the evening of the 8th and received it on the morning of the 10th (great shipping speed!). The safe is excellent - it's compact enough to fit on or under a desk or, for more security, it can be bolted to the wall or the floor. It feels well made and solid and will definitely stop any casual thief or keep kids away from medications or dangerous items. It's not designed or advertised to secure highly valuable items and I wouldn't trust it to do so - but for casual protection is is perfect.

4 years and still in tip-top shape!
I can hardly believe it's been over 4 years since I bought this safe! I keep it in my closet with all my personal belongings safely stored inside, and it still works perfectly as if I bought it yesterday! All loaded up and moved to a different site. It was easy to program. Opening is a snap and closing as well. This is by no means a bank quality safe but it will keep your items secure for the most part. Great investment for the money.

Great Safe For a Small Collection
Easy to set up. Love that it has finger print WITH combination and/or a key option as well. You can bolt it to the wall studs or to the floor. I also keep some of my medications inside to prevent any accidents when my nephews are over.
Pros:
- quick access
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Guns that go bang

Keeps The Kids Away
I only have a couple of rifles and a pair of handguns so this was a good size for me. All steel and easy to program it for me and my son. I like the modern tech scanner.
I mounted it directly on the wall with lag screws, 3 inches long into the stud behind the drywall. Solid and secure. It is not going to be easily pulled off of the wall, that is for sure.
Purchased the a dehumidifier to cut down on the moisture, i live near to the beach, so this was a necessary item.

A good, inexpensive choice.
Can beat it for the price. As advertised. Nice, small safe that will keep your guns safe from the kids. Maybe not from a thief who has a half-hour to kill. Fits a rifle and a shotgun with room on the shelf for a handgun (not in a case).
Pros:
- Inexpensive
- DOJ Approved
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Rifles
