Failed First Day of Use
I have had two of these scopes - Huntmaster 3-9x50. The first was on my rifle for 3 years and worked well until I noticed the lens inside was loose and chipped from rattling around. Good scope
I have run 2 dozen rounds through my 8mm Mauser with this scope attached. Seems durable. Holds zero. Brightness of view is a thing that is hard to describe. But on a clear night at 90 percent moon illumination at 3x power I can clearly see the crosshairs against a background of dry grass and brush. I could have hit a coyote at 100 yards in the moonlight. (eyes were partially but not fully dark adapted) At 9x magnification on the same night the crosshairs were barely usable, which accounts for the 4 star rating.

Great for the money
Very nice scope for the money. The marlin xl7 270 that this scope got put on shoots tacks where it is the gun or the scope not sure but very nice scope alot nicer than my bushnell on my 300 win mag.
