Most Helpful Positive Review
Absolute perfection.
The 1star and 3star reviewers are idiots. I have one of these on all but one of my AR builds with the exception being an elftman tactical push button safety(which is more expensive and works subpar), on each build I pair a rise armament trigger with one of these selectors and there is absolutely ZER...

Not Impressed
This safety is nothing special. I thought I would get better purchase with it but I found the stock AR-15 safety was easier to operate. Would not recommend since it is actually worse than the stock AR-15 safety. Harder to operate. No thicker than stock AR-15 safety.
safety selector
Good product works very well and very smooth. Would recommend for a good price and good look to my build.

Perfect Companion to the BAD Mag Release
A solid safety selector. With the rounded edges, it’s very comfortable to actuate. However, I do feel that the switch could be slightly shorter and wish they would offer it in a short throw option. It also goes great with the matching BAD mag release and bolt catch. I use this matching set on several of my ARs.
Pros:
- Easy to install
- Good-looking design
- Comfortable to actuate
- Positively snaps into fire/safe positions
Cons:
- does not come with spring and detent
- Switch could be slightly shorter
- No short throw option

Nice for the price !
I like this little takedown lever . It is not the fanciest thing I have seen however it does not look super cheap. I believe it is a fair price for a decent item. my favorite part about this item is that even though it is not ambidextrous, you still get a safety notch on the other side to know what you are selecting.

Awesome aftermarket goto and a really good value
Ya, I like it. Here’s why:
The grip is positive and solid. The lever seems to have undergone some dehorning without sacrificing purchase or grip.
I find the OEM safety selectors rough with sharp ridges. Yes there’s some well finished LPK’s out there like, SoL and Geissele but I’m talking no name OEM.
The axle is smooth and feels “lifetime” solid. Went on easy and the tiny bevel and smooth axle helped.
The 90 degree slot is well finished, smooth and rounded. Since it doesn’t come with hardware I took the liberty of lightly shaping and buffing off the point of the detent.
I use my safety a heck of a lot. Sometimes only to train my brain during dry-fire.
The Battle Arms safety is strong, positive, smooth with a negligible amount of wiggle.
The transitions from fire to safe to fire are smooth and confidence building.
The $13-$15 price point makes this an easy decision.
These are the safety selectors I have to contrast and compare the actions against.
Radian Talon, FCD, Battle Arms Pro and the SOL stock fire control.

Great Selector
Huge improvement over standard mil-spec at a price that’s easy for anyone to afford. There is no reason not to use this as a starting point on every build. Feels nearly as good as the high dollar ambi selectors but at a fraction of the price.
Pros:
- Price
- reliability
- feel
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- basic build
- Every Build
Would recommend: Yes
Favorite AR safety
Began using the BAD safeties just to make my AR builds a litter different than most. Nice shape, works as well as any mil-spec and OP carrie’s them. Use the BAD mag releases too. Great parts at fair prices. Good Stuff!

nice finish
It definitely IS a upgrade over your normal mil spec safety selector, overall happy with it and the finish is really good.can never go wrong with battle arms development………………………………………………………………………………………………….
Pros:
- None
Cons:
- Not ambidextrous

Huge Grip and smooth transition
The cuts on the action aspect of this make for a super smooth transition even with a stiff spring. The larger thickness makes finding the side easy. Looks good and is well priced, allows the shooter to ditch that smaller selector for something with more of a footprint.

Preferred selector for builds
This is a great selector. A lot of milspec selectors are rather rough, and I suspect that has to do with the finish treatment. Every one of these I have gotten has been precisely drilled so your selector isn't off by some wonky degree, and the tough, deep, black finish is nice and smooth. The lever operates very smoothly and with just the right amount of force.
The only con to this is that it does not come with a detent or spring, so if you're buying this for a new build, that is something to consider. The same is true of the magazine catch - no spring or button unless you get the kit.
Either way, allows you to have a touch of customization and in my opinion, enhanced operation for a minuscule premium over the typical mil spec.
The guy that gave three stars even though he liked it probably eats crayons, and the other guy that was expecting the moon for this probably isn't happy with anything on his poverty pony.
