I own three BCM rails. One 15” KMR, one 15” MCMR and one 9” MCMR. The guy complaining about the 0.4” is ridiculous. The measurement is the pic rail section. You can clearly see that the sides go a bit more so if you are trying to run exactly 15” so you can get a suppressor mounted and get it right up to the rail you will waiter need to cut the wings off the rail or get a longer barrel. Or buy a mount that pushes out a bit further like a HUB mount that has a longer nut. The pictures show the rail, the dimensions are available. Do your research and pick your parts more carefully. Don’t blame a fantastic company with a great track record and product for your own lack of research. Also if you don’t own a dye grinder or know how to trim the rail wings you probably should not be building firearms. Get the tools so you don’t act a fool. BCM handguards are great quality and at a reasonable price. If you want a 10.5” barrel get the 9” rail, if you want a 9” barrel get an 8” rail. Simple.

Very nice rail, of course it's BCM. One thing to note is installation. The fitment is so tight you need to heat up the end that goes over the barrel nut. Make sure you have it lined up when pushing on because the heat doesn't have its affect very long. You may have to reheat a couple times to get it perfect. I had the same issue when installing a barrel into a BCM upper. Looks really nice with a 18" barrel though.

Great product. Always stick with a good product and this is one of them. Optics planet had everything I always need free shipping. Have sell a lot when comparing prices online. I find the best prices here and maybe the same other place but the other places charges too much shipping. This is always my first stop when looking for items.

This rail fit perfectly on the VLTOR upper. The 8 inch leaves just enough room for a 9inch barrel to thread the 300 Omega can. It’s light and durable. It’s also svelte. The rail goes on tight and is super secure with the BCM looking system.

The fit was a little tight around the barrel but. Had to tap on with rubber mallet. But other than that no problems. The rest of the installation was pretty simple and it looks great. The rail system is super light aluminum and was for the most part easy to install

Handguard is pretty much what I’d say is an ideal design. Light, strong, good mount system and easy to install. If you prefer a more slim profile, this handguard will be exactly what you’re looking for.

Fantastic rail to complete any build. I’ve had it mounted on my aero pistol build for about 15 months and it’s been great. The fit and finish are flawless, and mounting it went on snugly as to be excepted - follow the instructions and it makes it simple. Definitely can’t go wrong with BCM!

Bought this hand guard/ key-mod rail to install on my M&P-15. Had to do the essentials like remove the fixed front sight and buy and install the right gas block. Once I did those, the hand guard installation was a walk in the park. It comes with other parts which will also come in handy for me and my AR. Quality product made by a great company.

Fits perfectly, make sure you use some type of lubricant when installing the rail onto the barrel nut. it’s a tight fit and can be a pain if you forget to put in the spacer. I made this mistake but was able to fix it because I added grease to the outside of the barrel nut and also on the inside of the rail
