Great knife
I have had a couple benchmade's in the past but this one is my favorite. It has a very sold feel and lock up is super strong. I was a little worried about the "axis locking" but I have not had any problems at all with it.
Pros: beast of a knife
Cons: might be too big for smaller hands
Brick $h1th0u$3!
I have my knives from several different makers but have always been partial to Benchmade. When I inboxed this knife, I was reminded with a slap in the face just why. I was in the market for a hard use folder that was stout in every facet and that is exactly what this knife is. I can’t say enough about the Axis lock and the Adamas has the stoutest strongest one Benchmade makes. To me everything about this knife is executed perfectly. It is a big, tuff as nails tool that has that same command in the hand kinda like the first time your wrap your digits around the grip of a 1911. You’ll never forget it and always respect it if not simply fall in love with it. If you want some letter opener that slips into your change pocket to be carried all day every day with such subtlety that you forget you have it and it ends up in the washing machine on accident, we’ll thid tool may not be for you. As for me, I’m going to buy a second in case they for some reason stop making it or it becomes hard to find.
Pros:
- Unbelievably over built to perfection
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Everything a knife could be used for and a lot more
Would recommend: Yes
Adamas folder
This knife is a tank. Made for hard use, definitely not a "gentleman's folder". The blade came very sharp and has held it's edge well. Heavy but comfortable in the hand. The handle color is very attractive. Highly recommended.
Pros:
- Built like a tank
Cons:
- None
Best Used for:
- Hunting, military
Would recommend: Yes

Solid survival knife
This is a heavy knife, but that solidity gives you confidence in this folder. The folded blade retention is weak, however this makes it much easier to flip open when pulling back on the blade lock. The positioning of the pocket clip and the blade seems to make it pretty unlikely for the blade to actually open in your pocket even with the weak retention considering the length of the blade and how much room you have in your pocket. Overall, if you have been eyeing this knife or looking for a solid big folder, get this knife, you won't be disappointed!
Pros: Solid, thick blade, strong blade lock, molle pouch, sharp out of the box.
Cons: Folded blade retention is weak
