Most Helpful Positive Review Benchmade Quality
This is my third benchmade I own and by far my favorite. The opening assist is very good and springs open every time with authority. It is also easy to close unlike some other assisted opening knives I have held and operated that have a tougher spring that doesn’t allow for an easy close. The locking safety is in a good spot so that you don’t have to adjust your grip in order to unlock the spring assist. Blade is extremely sharp from factory and the handle and blade seem durable. It feels good and solid in your hand to hold and the weight of it feels good when holding in your hand and to carry...

Amazing blade!!!

by Patrick Muga, from FL, United States Written on November 27, 2018
My favorite out of the 6 Benchmade knives I own. Easy to open or close one handed, and the S90V steel blade is a PREMIUM blade. Holds it's edge through months of opening boxes, etc. Use that would dull most blades fairly quickly. The handle is a little slim for heavy duty use, but then, that's not what this is made for, nor does it take much effort to slice and dice anything with this blade. GREAT EDC knife. Disappears into your pocket, yet readily accessible. Personally, I never use the double locking mechanism as I haven't found any need for it. You WILL need a ceramic sharpening system to touch it up though... The steel is THAT hard. I strongly recommend Spyderco's "tri-angle" sharpmaker set.
Pros:
  • Lightweight
  • Stupid sharp, holds edge like nothing else.
  • Easy to open & use
Cons:
  • Need ceramics to sharpen (is that even a "con"?)
Best Used for:
  • EDC
  • Dressed up

Awesome Christmas gift

by Chet, from FL, United States Written on January 3, 2017
This knife was a Christmas gift from my girlfriend. I told her a couple of months back I wanted a really good pocket knife that would be good to take anywhere and would last me a lifetime. This is a fairly expensive knife so I don't intend on buying many of the them. When I opened the box and took the knife out I was presently surprised. It is both elegant, light weight, and extremely well made. It came with a razor sharp edge on it. The handle is smooth so it doesn't scrape the back side of my hand when going in and out of my pocket. This is a great plus. I would highly recommend this knife to someone that doesn't mind spending a little more for a great quality knife.
