Good price point. Great fit. Took a little to tune it to fit. First attempt I put it to tight and it prevented the cycle to work. Back it off one complete turn and works perfectly. Included guide rod was too long since my 92x is a centurion. Luckily I had the prefect size guide and spring to allow full use.
So overall it’s a great fit. Looks great. But if you have a 4.25 barrel the supplied guide is longer than a FS.

I was a little hesitant at first in getting one of this, but after installing it on one of my 92XI'S and trying it out at the range I was blown away by the very noticeable improvement in getting back on target, I shot it to 10 yards at a pace of 2 rounds per second within a very respectable 3 to 4'' group.
I have them installed now on two 92XI'S one 92 Type X and one 92 FS.
Highly recommended.
Just as a side note, I tried it with a non OEM barrel made by a silencer company and there is about a 3/8'' gap between the front of the slide and the back of the compensator which looks a bit off but works just as well, this is due to the barrel been longer (Nothing to do with the product itself)

I considered purchasing one of these when I first purchased my 92XI. I shopped for this product on Beretta's website, and they were "out of stock". I then went to Optics Planet to purchase a metal guiderod to replace the cheesy plastic guiderod that came on my new 92XI, and lo and behold, Optics Planet had this product in stock. I then put it on my 92XI, and it was literally a perfect fit. The comp is relieved to take up the gap between the barrel threading and the frame. So, there might be a millimeter difference. I also purchased some additional lighter springs, recoil springs, and will start with the 11.5 lbs spring and go down from there. I've read that the comp requires a lighter spring, so we'll see. The 11.5 lbs spring sure makes it easier to rack the slide compared to the 13 lbs OEM spring that came on the 92XI. Thanks to Optics Planet for having it in stock, good prices, and fast shipping! Now, you just need to overhaul your website to make it less busy and more informative when shopping for products. You have such an awesome store, just need an easier website shopping experience.

Easy to install and remove. It seriously feels like I’m shooting a 22 LR and i like how it looks on the pistol. Only fits full size. Tried it on my M9A4 centurion and the guide rod is too big to sit in the slide.

I added this to a Beretta 92GTS and I'm very pleased with it. I had to swap out the stock 13lb recoil spring with an 11lb spring due to cycling errors. It is easy-on and easy-off, as quick as popping the slide and pulling the guide rod. It reduces recoil and smooths out muzzle lift for quick target acquisition and follow-up shoots. I am really pleased with this purchase and Optics Planet has the best price on the 'net.
